Kyoto Hotels

Nice clean place, they helped us send our snowboard bags to the mountain instead of lugging them around Tokyo. Would reccomend for sure.

Very nice, clean and well appointed airbnb that is personally run by Uno-san and Nao-san. They are very helpful and always ready for anything that you need!

Overall, we have a great stay our room assigned *luckily* located facing the mountainside as we love to check out how’s the weather outside in the morning 🤣.
We can see partly Kiyomizu-dera from afar

Unfortunately it was very busy due to the o-bon holidays.
We had to wait for longer than expected but the staff were very kind and refunded our money.

6ishiki (MU ISHIKI — 6 senses) is a hidden Art Hotel, an oasis for the soul. A sauna, a private chef for a life changing kaiseki.
Dinner with Kyo Ryori Matsusyo.
Meditation to reboot.

We stayed in the “Ohana” annex — an amazing town house with both a traditional Japanese soul and with all the modern stuff that makes your stay comfortable.

As we wanted to stay in Kyoto for a whole week, we put a bit more research into booking this accommodation up front and it totally payed off.

Great family stay. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Walkable and 7 eleven down stairs, can’t ask for a better hotel.

We have stayed with a friend for 2 nights in this wonderful hotel. It is very close to the bus station, and it has a Family Mart that is only ~3 minutes away.

Room is nice, checked in to a room for 2 adult and 2 kids. The room has a double bunker bed in the form of a ship for the kids and another queen size bed for the adult.

Fantastic location, food and accommodation.
Unbelievable bottle wine list for connoisseurs; reasonable per glass prices for everyone else ;-) Also serves wine from the nearby amanohashidate winery.

Great little self-checkin lodge with two big double beds, adequate bathroom space, simple kitchen with IH cooker, toaster and microwave. There’s even free laundry available!
