Stayed here back in February for one night and it was a phenomenal stay.

Beautiful hotel with a great service.
Every morning you can go to see the Buddhist ceremony which I recommend to do at least once.

What a wonderful stay and experience. I've stayed in Kyoto many times, but this was the first time we decided to stay at Watazen Ryokan for a different experience from a typical hotel.

This property was wonderful and enabled me to be relaxed during my stay. Solo travel or in a group. The facility is very well located.

The location was still a close walk to the train station, but the neighborhood was pretty quiet at night. This did suit a ryokan as we were relaxing in the onsen.

The hot public bath was clean and impeccably kept. The rooms were tastefully decorated and placed together.

We loved our stay at Yasaka Yutone. The room was comfortable and spacious. The cypress bath was lovely for a relaxing soak.

Amazing location to stay in traditional Kyoto. This Ryokan has a bit more luxury than the traditional ones and we had a lovely stay.

The rooms are nice and big for sure, check out at 10 and additional fees for every minute longer is not ok for such class of hotel.

We had a lovely 2 night stay. The location is fantastic, close to restaurants the nishiki markets and all public transport. The rooms are large clean and comfortable.

Garden Villa Denshin An is a place of serenity, thoughtfully designed with lots of attention to details. Yu and the staff were genuine, kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the start.

Absolutely stunning Ryokan in the mountains of Kyoto. Beautiful and traditional stay. We used the shuttlebus from Hanazono which was really convenient.

It is a little dated but that added to the charm for me. The staff was wonderful. The food was delicious. The setting was magical. I really liked having a private outside hot tub.

We were allowed to check in two hours earlier than our check-in time which was greatly appreciated after a tiring travel day. The rooms were very tidy and the service was quick and professional.

I stayed at KéFU stay & lounge, for a short duration. However during my 4 days I was able to throughly enjoy my time.

In a more residential area, nice to see local people biking around and different types of businesses. Close to the best wagyu restaurant we tried and close to the textile museum.

I stayed in the single room at Inn Kawashima for 7 nights. It’s a quiet place to rest and recharge after going out for the day.

I stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment at Kyoto 4 sisters. We were a group of 6 including a baby. The apartment complex is very spacious and well maintained.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The staff were pleasant and eager to help. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The Residence is well placed for visiting Kyoto on foot or by metro.

The service here was wonderful, the food was great, the location is phenomenal. The traditional room & yuzu bath were a nice respite after a long day of exploring Kyoto.

We stayed at the Shinmonzen for two nights while on a trip to Japan for our honeymoon. They went above and beyond in absolutely every way.

I have been fortunate to stay at some of the top hotels in the world, and no where have I had a more meaningful stay than at the Shinmonzen.

I booked Japanese Style room. The room is spacious. With plenty of space for our 4 luggages. The futons is very comfy.

Stay here if you want to experience culture while staying at an excellent Kyoto location. My husband and I stayed on here on our first trip to Japan in a tatami room.
