Reviews of B&B Hachi
Chie is a very nice and friendly host. The girls from the staff did a perfect job and were also very kind and friendly. I would recommend the yoga and tea ceremony.
There was a discussion between me and my roommate, the hostel staff did nothing. I knocked on their door (hostel workers) to ask for help. They answered me from behind the door. They didn't help, they didn't even get involved. You are alone in this hostel.
Also, because the hostel staff made me wait at the door, the neighbors thought I had been scammed and the neighbors called the police. There is also correspondence about this.

I’ve been to kyoto many times and have stayed at several different accommodations and can say with my chest that BB Hachi is hands down the BEST. The aroma of igusa from the tatami floor is so healing and relaxing, and I always wake up feeling rejuvenated. The owners and staff are so welcoming and kind, and they take great care of the traditional architecture. It is also located in a very convenient place — just 1 train stop away from Kyoto station, but not crowded / loud, and is peaceful and quiet neighborhood surrounded by several bath houses and izakaya’s. I am so thankful for this guesthouse! Will definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone :)
