Kyoto Hotels near Mibu-dera Temple

Ryokan like dining with Japanese public hot baths. Rooms are traditional tatami floor mats and futons. Service front desk very efficient and helpful.

We spent 4 days and 3 nights here. The breakfast menu changed daily, which we really appreciated. However, the flavors tended to be quite flat—healthy but lacking in taste.

Location fine, short walk to stations, bus stops, Nishiki market. Restaurants and konbinis all around everywhere. Super clean, modern, warm, comfortable bed, doona, pillow. Quiet.

We found this area of Kyoto very walkable, there are so many great coffee and cafe places nearby, and also the shopping street is within 10 minutes.

We stayed here for 5 days to explore Kyoto and Osaka. Several things about the hotel stand out. The friendliness of all the staff, both at reception and in the breakfast room.
The location.

Had a fantastic stay here :) the service is great, check in was easy and quick, and we got free welcome drinks/coffee. The rooms are small but clean and cozy with a desk, and the bathroom is great.

Great price and location.
Check-in could only be done at 3pm sharp via a Skype call with their remote customer service team through an iPad they have at the reception.

Stayed here for 2 days and it was wonderful! We stayed in one of the bigger rooms and it had a large kitchen, a big bathroom with a washing machine and a spacious seating area!

The hotel is very well located, and the staff and facilities surprised us very positively. We were very well attended to by the entire team.

Had an AMAZING stay here, I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto. Location is great and accessible to public transport. The staff are very kind and hospitable.

The hotel in this price range is far above average, the staff is very friendly and approachable, always ready to help, the rooms are very neat and clean, praise for the quite large and comfortable

Nice hotel in a quit neighborhood. It all looked very new, nice big beds, shower was quite small but that's normal over here. Subway and busses 5 to 10 minutes walk.

Great quiet place to stay room very spacious and accommodating for larger families. Distance from most things is a bit far but is to be expected. Overall staff were super nice and helpful.

Resi Andon Stay offers excellent facilities that truly made me feel at home during my time in Kyoto.

Fantastic value hotel — amazing location close to everything, great size room for the price. Very clean and has everything you need. Highly recommend if you are staying in Kyoto.

We stayed at this hotel for six days and had a very pleasant experience overall. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and exceptionally clean.

The Royal Park Canvas Kyoto Nijo was a fantastic place to stay. The hotel is modern, stylish, and conveniently located just steps from Nijo Station.

Perhaps there are people who might question my 5 star rating but between the well appointed rooms, location, staff and amenities, this hotel deserves it. Just steps from Nijo station, in a quiet

Tabist Groove in Kyoto exceeded all my expectations.

The staff was very helpful with any questions I had about the city and were very nice. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed.

I absolutely loved my stay at The OneFive Kyoto Shijo. Among the three hotels I stayed at during my trip across Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo, this one was by far my favorite.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, so it may be a bit difficult to reach by public transportation. However, this makes for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Welcoming staff and clean, spacious room, with laundry machine in the second flour, quiet convenient. The bus stop is right in front of the building so it is really easy to move around the city.

Location is excellent. 5-10 mins walk to a local supermarket. 5 mins walk to subway or bus station. Room is clean breakfast is simple but practical. Prefect for business travellers. Reasonable rate.

The receptionist was so pretty — 5 stars on everything. Kidding aside. The room was spacious, had a large bathroom, large beds, clean, and stylish.

Spacious rooms in good location. Not directly on the main street, but very close to public transport. The rooms are super clean and the staff is helpful.

Not close to a lot of stuff, but it was a great hotel/Airbnb I guess. No person there to check us in everything was done online, which was also great.

The room itself is great. More space than most.
Washing machine. Clean. New. Only downside is thin walls. Can hear people upstairs walking and neighbors moving around.
Location is not great.

We had a very good stay overall.
Although the hotel is not a high-star or expensive one, the facilities and cleanliness were very good for the price. The room was also quite spacious.

Location was perfect! The room was so nice we got twin beds and they were plenty big enough!

I spent four nights at this property while visiting Kyoto and had an overall positive experience.

A smart, functional business hotel near the centre of Kyoto. Room was clean and everything worked. Breakfast was great.

Nice and cozy place, very neat and clean room, it's far away from the hustle and bustle, after a hectic day of traveling around kyoto you can get back and relax peacefully, it's not in the heart of

The room was very nice, spacious for Japanese standards and clean. Beds were okay, pillows small and quite firm, or lumpy but definitely doable. The setup for a kitchenette was pretty genius.

The room was very spacious! especially the bathroom. The room overall was well above Japanese size standards. The room was super clean, great air conditioning. The location is also perfect.

The staff here are incredibly professional, kind, and polite. There was a small mix-up during my stay, but they handled it with care and sincerity.

I stayed 6 nights at AB Hotel Kyoto Shijo. The staff were all very nice and friendly. The breakfast was good, though it would have been even better with more variety in the food and beverage options.

We stayed here 2 nights. For Japanese stanrdard the room was spacious. Älteste toilet and shower. Super clean.
The bus stop was just 50 m away. Price value really good.

We only stay here for 1 night and it was a pleasant experience. Love how they divide the entrance, bathroom n bedroom so the bedroom feels more private.
