Not one to normally write reviews, I felt compelled to write one after our stay at Mimaru Kyoto Station.
Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the staff who were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

I’ve stayed in many hotels and I can say without a doubt that the staff at Mimaru Kyoto Station are the best front of house team I’ve ever encountered.

I really liked my stay at the hotel. The staff was cordial and tried its best, even with the linguistic barrier.

Perfectly located just opposite Toji station with literally a 5 minute rail ride to Kyoto central station. Rooms are nice, quite spacious for Japan, and the breakfast is good.

Flawless check-in, spacious clean room, thorough daily cleaning, but the real stand out is breakfast — wow.

I believe Reign Hotel is easily in the top three hotels I’ve ever stayed in especially because of its exceptional level of service.
During our stay with my family, we truly felt at home.

Our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Station was a really lovely experience.

We had a fantastic stay at DoubleTree Kyoto Station. The property takes great care of loyal Diamond members, and we certainly appreciated the room upgrade and status recognition.

A really special hotel stay. The converted townhouses are beautiful with amazing amenities. The rooms are comfortable and clean and service was very friendly.

The rooms were really nice. Love the outdoor bath attached to the room. If you plan on spending a lot of time in your room, get a bigger room. Heated floors in the bathroom.

After 4 days in a cage in tokyo, this apartment was god sent. Self-checkin was smooth. No problems whatsoever. Plenty of space for luggage.

Lovely little apartment style room, large bathroom with Japanese style shower and bath, included washing machine.

The hotel is conveniently located next to Kyoto Station. It was a 5 mins walk once u exit the station.

Amazing hotel. Very accessible, the Kyoto Station is within 3 min walk distance. It has access to buses, subways, and bullet trains.

Very cute little coffee shop and homestay. They have a lot of home made bagels that are served with cream cheese or some other toppings. The bagels are nicely chewy.

Absolutely amazing food and very kind people, would recommend visiting if in Kyoto and the ham cheese bagel plus scrambled eggs is fantastic.

The hotel is situated in a not-so-busy area but is so close to public transportation options. I am happy to discover the area, especially when I joined their activity to the Toji Temple.

A beautiful hotel with excellent amenities. Rooms were spacious by Japanese standards. The only thing that needs to be improved is the ventilation in the smoking room.

We stayed at Hotori Villa for 4 nights with 2 adults and 2 children. The villa was traditional and tranquil. It was so beautifully decorated. Every appliance we needed was available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The experience from beginning to end was one of kindness luxury and exploration.

They’re so nice and the room was quiet, cozy, and comfortable. The onsen on the 2nd floor is small but tattoos are okay. Traditional breakfast in a private room was perfect.

We had such a wonderful experience at Kagihei. We wish we stayed longer. What a lovely surprise to find such peace and tranquility so close to the busy Nishiki market.

Good value for money.
Despite arriving much earlier than official check-in time (arrived at 2pm, but room is available by 4pm onwards), we are allowed to check-in to our room.

The hotel is in a very strategic location, just a short walk from Kyoto Station and Aeon Mall. The service was excellent, and the stay was very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Nice traditional ryokan in a prime Arashiyama spot, steps from the Luxury Collection hotel. The property is somewhat dated, but rooms are clean and comfortable, and all facilities are fully equipped.

There were mixed reviews, I am very satisfied with their amenities, foods (got half boarding), service, quietness, old but clean. It wasn't expensive either and even guests were courteous.

Top value, top service! No issue whatsoever staying at this hotel. The hotel is right by a very quaint river with willows lining the banks, very romantic.

Great location, 5 mins walk to kyoto station.
Family room was spacious and comfy for family of four.

Superb location: you couldn't get much closer to the main station, yet it was quiet and we got a good few night's sleep.

The location of the hotel is very comfortable to Kyoto Station. For the interior of the hotel is clean and comfy.

Stayed here last Saturday and Sunday, and it was one of the highlights of my Japan trip!

Convenience, comfy, value for money. Got all I need and good sleep here. Within walking distance to tea shopping street and other view attractions.

This is my first time sleeping on a futon bed, and tatami room. The building is traditional and authentic and very beautiful. I was impressed by the cleanliness. The host was very kind and friendly.

Genuinely beautiful inn. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Not a lot of easily walkable restaurants nearby, but a kitchen is accessible and there are nearby grocery stores.

Great value for the room. A little note, you need to walk a bit to the nearest station or bus shelter in order to get to downtown.

I stayed for 2 nights and it was a comfortable stay. The room was spacious enough, and the bed was comfortable with window. However, soundproofing can be a little weak.

Stayed 2 nights with a family of 4. The house itself is amazing and well worth the price. The host is great and helped us with local food recommendations and local sights.

Nachiya is the most beautiful, stylish and comfortable home you can find (away from home). The house is spacious and clean and full of traditional Japanese charm.

I just checked out having stayed at Rakuten Stay Kyoto Station for 9 nights, a simple yet comfortable hotel in Kyoto, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience.

Our group booked 2 twin rooms for 9 nights, very comfortable stay. The room is bigger than average, has a desk and chair, enough room to open 2 medium size suitcases on thefloor.

Absolutely fantastic service, hospitality and food served here. The location is convenient and easily accessible from Kyoto Station as well.

Confusing website for bookings… Inadvertently booked a room that didn't include a kaiseki meal that I was really looking forward to experiencing.
