Stayed here last Saturday and Sunday, and it was one of the highlights of my Japan trip!

Convenience, comfy, value for money. Got all I need and good sleep here. Within walking distance to tea shopping street and other view attractions.

Great place, and everyone was so kind and helpful, giving you tips for nice areas to visit. Would highly recommend.

This was a great location with beautiful scenery and easy access to transportation to explore Kyoto! There are many different shops and restaurants lining the streets, and the staff were very helpful.

Hibari hostel was exactly what we were looking for. Friendly, simple accomodations.

We took the Annex room.
Its basically a closet with tatami Mats — but pretty good for the price.
The lobby and sanitary facilities are good and clean.

I’d stay there for 2 nights. Room was clean & spacious. Staff were nice & helpful.

If you want to try the traditional Japanese style, you should give this place a try. We really recommend this place. We love our stay here. Also don't forget to try their porridge for breakfast.

If you want to experience an old Ryokan, this is the best place for you. Love how it feels homy.

We got the twin room and it was great, comfy bed, spacious room and location close to trains, buses and convenience stores. It would be a bit cleaner but had a super happy stay! :)

Happy stay! Perfect stay during cherry blossom blooming! Quick walk to two different train stations so you can easily get around or you get even walk to the main attractions. There’s a kitchen to use.
