It is awesome. The dinner crab set id remarkable. It is too much and we felt pity that we could not eat it all. Hotel staff is very freindly and fluently speak English. Strongly recommended.

Stayed here back in February for one night and it was a phenomenal stay.

Stayed in this hotel for three nights. Location is good. Railway station, bus stand at walking distance. Shops like lawsons nearby. Shopping malls, shops, eating places at walking distance.

The location of this hotel is honestly the best part – it’s right across from Kyoto Station, so getting around is super easy with buses, metro, and JR lines. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

The good: very friendly staff, options to have more pillows, an iron, electricity plug converters, etc. Great coffee and nice toiletry selection. Modern-looking and comfortable rooms.

Smooth, nothing much to comment. Agoda stated guests would be charged at check-in for the city tax.

Good location and within walking distance to downtown Kyoto (around 2-15 minutes), yet maintain the suburb feel, quiet at night.

I loved this hotel. The staff were very kind and provided my family and me with all the support we needed. The rooms were clean, and they offered both hot and cold drinks as complimentary services.

So clean and comfortable. Couldn't find a better location for the price. If you like shopping and restaurants this is the place. I really enjoyed my stay and did lots of walking.

7/11 is right across & tons of Family Marts around the corner. Ramen and Yoshinoya udon next to the hotel. Armani Exchange & Louis Vuitton walking distance.

Such a unique experience to be able to stay "in" an artwork! We were in the Mon Koutaro Ooyama room (#601) and it was amazing!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at BnA Alter Museum—from the fantastic location by Gion to the spacious rooms and beautiful bathroom, it was a very enjoyable experience!

The room was quite spacious for Kyoto and had a very good shower. We were fine; the only downside was that it was far from everything—central in the city, but away from the main attractions.

Beautiful traditional Japanese style hotel with a garden view in the middle of the room. We stayed for 4 people and the room was huge and spacious with 4 very comfortable beds.

Nice hotel in a quit neighborhood. It all looked very new, nice big beds, shower was quite small but that's normal over here. Subway and busses 5 to 10 minutes walk.

The hotel is really nice & clean. It is in a very calm neighborhood and a bit further away from any public transportation.

The room was very spacious! especially the bathroom. The room overall was well above Japanese size standards. The room was super clean, great air conditioning. The location is also perfect.

Quiet, clean and compact room with excellent blackout blinds for a good sleep. The mattress was firm and comfortable, however, I was not as pleased with the pillows.

Good value, clean and refurbished small hotel. Double room on the fifth floor had a surprisingly panorama view of Kyoto cityscape.

Staying here was the highlight of my trip, the onsen was absolutely fabulous and the nature gives it that extra charm.!

A great ryokan away from the city. Reachable by bus, this Ryokan takes you away from the busy city life and provides you a slower pace of the country side.

The apartment was spacious and well equipped, which made our stay comfortable overall. We appreciated having kitchen utensils, and everything necessary to make daily life easier during our trip.

I booked a king bed room as a Titanium member. On check in I had a room with two beds pushed together to make a bigger bed.

I had amazing experience staying at Hotel Kitanoya for one night! I got the room with the private hot spring, which is very spacious and has all the things you need.

I stayed in a room with private hot spring for one night. It was an enjoyable experience. We jumped into the hot spring during mid night.

This was our first stay in this tourist area, and we chose this hotel for its location, hot springs, and price. The hot springs in particular were the best in the area.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. It offers great value for money, with clean and well-maintained rooms. The staff were attentive and friendly, especially in the restaurant.

Highly recommend staying at this hotel if you want a higher end experience. The rooms were very generously sized for Japan travel and the amenities were top-notch!

This hotel is in a very good location with excellent accessibility. Getting around is extremely convenient, whether by public transportation or on foot.

Very nice hotel, comfortable bed, about 20 minutes by bus from Kyoto Station.

Homm Stay in Kyoto is easily the best hotel stayed at so far in Japan.

We loved it. Huge room was literally four times the size of our Tokyo hotel rooms. Staff is very friendly. Balconies with good views in both the front & back rooms (just two rooms per floor).

The hotel is situated in a not-so-busy area but is so close to public transportation options. I am happy to discover the area, especially when I joined their activity to the Toji Temple.

A beautiful hotel with excellent amenities. Rooms were spacious by Japanese standards. The only thing that needs to be improved is the ventilation in the smoking room.

Absolutely stunning Ryokan in the mountains of Kyoto. Beautiful and traditional stay. We used the shuttlebus from Hanazono which was really convenient.

It is a little dated but that added to the charm for me. The staff was wonderful. The food was delicious. The setting was magical. I really liked having a private outside hot tub.

Very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. The location is convenient, and coffee and tea are available at all times.
