I really liked my stay at the hotel. The staff was cordial and tried its best, even with the linguistic barrier.

Perfectly located just opposite Toji station with literally a 5 minute rail ride to Kyoto central station. Rooms are nice, quite spacious for Japan, and the breakfast is good.

Clean, spacious rooms with all required amenities. English speaking friendly staff. Our room also had a nice view of the mountains. Easy access to train station, located just in front.

Kyoto Yamashina Hotel Sanraku offers a perfect blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. Located in the serene Yamashina area, it’s close to the station for easy access to Kyoto’s attractions.

An amazing stay. The location is excellent, short walk from the bamboo forest and lots of little shops including a big kimono rental chain.

We stayed for one night and it’s a very exceptional hotel. The staffs are very nice and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

This is a review from my 30 year old daughter. This was her trip of a lifetime. Its a cozy hotel on a little side street but very close to public transit.

I have to say this was my favorite stay during our trip to Japan.

I stayed here, mid November for 6 nights. It was wonderful. Due to jetlag I had to check in a day late. I notified the hotel staff via email and they were very understanding and responsive.

Spacious for 4. Huge beds but they’re the traditional Japanese style so they’re more firm than my American self is used to. Convenient location to the bus station and a 20 minute walk to most other

I really enjoyed my stay at Kabin Hotel Kyoto. The design is very modern and stylish, with a cool, new-school vibe that makes the place feel fresh and comfortable right away.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spotless and a good size by Kyoto standards, with thoughtful design throughout. We absolutely loved the shower — easily one of the best we’ve experienced!

I would gladly stay again and recommend to others visiting Kyoto. Rooms were clean and met up to expectations. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and welcoming.

The room was very nice, bright, clean, tidy and spacious. The staff are friendly and welcoming as well. There’s free sake tasting at night too!

We spent 3 nights in Deluxe Twin which comes with tatami flooring. Contactless check-in and check-out was efficient. They gave us a room on high flloor with kyoto tower view which was awesome.

We stayed in a room with a view of Kyoto Tower. Coming back to the hotel every day and seeing the tower lit up always made us feel really happy.

Have been staying many 5-star hotel in Kyoto. This is one of the best hotels.

Fauchon Hotel Kyoto was the moment our trip truly slowed down in the best way.
After the nonstop energy of Tokyo, arriving here felt like a reset.

If you want to be centrally located, this is the location to stay.

Fantastic guitar! Excellent Steph 24-hour coffee machine which serves matcha hot chocolate and of course coffee. 4:00 to 10:00 p. M. They also give you a sake per night for free per person.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were consistently polite, attentive, and very helpful, and everything was handled efficiently and swiftly.

Where do I start? I think this was the best hotel inn we’ve ever stayed at. It was so lovely I was sad to leave.

Not one to normally write reviews, I felt compelled to write one after our stay at Mimaru Kyoto Station.
Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the staff who were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

I’ve stayed in many hotels and I can say without a doubt that the staff at Mimaru Kyoto Station are the best front of house team I’ve ever encountered.

The hotel is conveniently located next to Kyoto Station. It was a 5 mins walk once u exit the station.

Amazing hotel. Very accessible, the Kyoto Station is within 3 min walk distance. It has access to buses, subways, and bullet trains.

We stayed here in 2023 and my husband and I still find ourselves reminiscing about it. It was such a beautiful hotel and an unforgettable experience.

Having access to the Executive Lounge both before check-in and after check-out truly elevated the overall stay.

Great hotel! like a 20min walk from kyoto station, a little bit up hill tho. Check in at 4pm.

Overall, I was happy with my experience with this hotel. However, there are some issues that would prevent me from returning or recommending the hotel to solo travelers in the future.

The hotel is in s great location. It is easy get around by foot or subway.
The front desk is very helpful.
Breakfast in includes and is filling and delicious, it rotates.

Of course the service is kind and helping, but the amenities, the room, the mattress, the pillow, the private onsen-like bath, the cleanness — 10/10 on everything.

Stayed here on our recent trip to Kyoto and took the suite with the private sauna and large soaking tub. It was wonderful, private, quiet, and spacious.

This is my second time staying at Gion Elite Terrace. First time with a group of friends and, recently, my mother.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Hokke Club Kyoto. The location is excellent — Kyoto Station is right in front of the hotel, which made it very easy for me to travel around the city by bus and train.

Transition checking in and out was great. Good value hotel, the location is very convenient infront of Kyoto Station. A 3 star hotel but service is good and staff is helpful.

We stayed at Hotel Amanek Kyoto and had a very good experience. The staff were super friendly, and the rooms were very clean.

Great service and lovely staff, has its own sento which was always quiet. They also gave free juice/tea. It was easy to walk to the centre and there were frequent buses right out the front.

Good location, easy to access on several bus lines and close to a subway. Easy walk for walkers. Laundromat 5 mins walk away, not in hotel. Room larger than average hotel room, that is nice!

This was a great hotel to stay at. Really friendly reception staff. Helped with booking taxis etc.
Good location with a number of restaurants in easy walking distance.

Rooms were wonderful and service was superb. Washroom was wide with a sliding barn door and shower was spic and span.

Really liked this hotel for our Kyoto stay. Rooms were nice, there was good coffee available in the reception area everyday and I really liked that it is a smaller hotel, it has a cozy atmosphere.

Good location. Good facilities. The lounge has a coffee machine which is very nice. My room was wide enough that I can manage my things and I can store my luggage outside in a compartment.

I used this hotel as a place to stay on a business trip.
Here is a Capsule hotel, so the private space is small. But there are rest space on the first floor and I could have some snacks and drinks.
