The bestest hostel I have ever stayed in my years of backpacking life!

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed!
I was supposed to stay in another place that was terrible so I found Ryokan hostel last minute and it was FANTASTIC!

We had 4 nights at this hotel and found it very comfortable. Great location within 5 minutes of the covered market streets and Nishiki market.

Well situated: near the famous market, great restaurants in the area and not far to a metro station to get to the shrines and temples on the eastern side of Kyoto.

The food was all very fresh, nourishing and delicious and served in beautiful dining rooms.
Service was great, the staff were very friendly and accommodating of our baby.

We stayed here for two nights. From the moment we got there to the moment we left the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. We stayed in tatami room and slept on futon.

Magical place with a view and cozy atmosphere.
As far as I understand, the place closed off for a while until the couple that runs it now took over. I'm so grateful to them.

Amazing location and people, we stayed 1 night and it was a great experience. We had good service and everything was well located. I'd definitely stay there again!

I was a bit worried about booking this place but it exceeded all expectations. The receptionist speaks english and mandarin. All rooms have an amazing view of the sea.

Excellent views, clean room, big public hot spring area, hospitality staff.

The cost performance was good and they were very kind.
It was a breakfast only plan, but it was very delicious.
Next time I would like to visit during the crab season.

This hotel is set on an onsen and is in a beautiful, quiet location.
The villas are very comfortable and spacious but the best feature is the private onsen.

We stayed at the Sakura Village which is an annex to Centrale hotel in Kyotango in January 2024.

The best stay. The apartment is spacious and beautiful. Very clean everything looks like new. With lots of technology and cozy decor that allows us to enjoy the traditions of the culture.

For the price it was great. The location was next to a big supermarket as well as the smaller famous chains and a farmacy. The metro is also a couple minutes away and the bus stop too.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a good experience. The place is very clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful experience here. I stayed for 2 nights and it is very traditional and very immersive. The staff are INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful.

I love this traditional Japanese hotel! It was perfect. Staff was incredibly friendly, hotel itself is easily accessible in Kyoto, about 5-10min walk from Nishiki Fish Market.

Great service and I love that they installed filtered and purified water in the shower that you can use for drinking.

I had stayed in this series of hotel many time. However this one is not so good. The light inside is very dark.

Check-in is close to Kyoto station, and they offer to drop bags in the property. The property is very close to a train station that is 2 stops from Kyoto station.

What a wonderful and authentic Japanese experience. Lovely interior, clean towels, snug location, soft bedding, comfortable blankets and beautiful traditional gardens.

Spacious and beautifully restored Machiya in the heart of Kyoto!
The dining area was also used often after a long day exploring the city, sipping on the coffee provided by the inn.

Totally loved it! We stayed here for a few nights. We had to do the bedding but it was worth experiencing the traditional Japanese room space.

Lovely hotel! However while service was generally acceptable in the beginning. We booked a room for five people including two children.

I felt right at home thanks to the beautiful Indian cultural decorations and the incredibly warm, kind, and smiling owner who made the experience even more special.

I stayed here last year before Golden week.
The owners are extremely friendly. And made masala tea every morning for the guests.
Good price compared to anywhere in Kyoto.

Wonderful house with all the amenities we required. Offered us plenty of space and comfort, plus was very clean. Such a nice change from a hotel room.

We loved this place. We stayed for 3 nights and there is nothing bad to say about it. We will be back next time that we are in Japan.

We came to Len for breakfast every morning during our four day visit to Kyoto, as it was a very convenient few block walk from our hotel, and there was always a table available.

The room is big compared to most hotels and very functional. It’s super cozy, to the point that we didn’t really want to leave the hotel at all.

We used this hotel as our home base for our vacation. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Kyoto station. The only thing I would have changed would be to book the jacuzzi suite!

Excellent apart-hotel with Japanese designed rooms with small kitchen, ideal for breakfast and small diners. Good services and great staff. A 10’ walk to Kyoto station.
