Staff are really nice they gave us a tour at thr start. The Tatami rooms are really nice, gives the real japanese feeling. Really large. 2 toilets.

The location is excellent, with a metro station and bus stops nearby, as well as restaurants and convenience stores just around the corner.

The hotel has a great location, close to the station, and within walking distance of many attractions. The shopping centre is just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel service was excellent.

The best hotel room so far in Japan! Very good service, and communication barrier is not an issue since receptionist uses translater.

This was a real highlight of our trip to Kyoto as the guesthouse is in such a nice quiet and central location.

We had a double bed room, the room was very big for Japanese standards. The location is also very good, as it is central. The bus stop is in front of the door. Amazing!

Got the family room on my recent visit to Kyoto. I was pleasently surprised for the price the room was absolutely large. 2 single beds, a large living room and they provide 2-3 mattresses to lay out.

Everything went really from the check-in to the checkout. Staff, breakfast and room were super nic.

We stayed for 3 days and it was an absolute plessure. Everybody is so friendly, polite and attentive. It is the best place to have an authentic ryokan experience. The breakfast was very delicous.

A traditional house in the heart of Kyoto, very close to many points of interest including the Gion district and the very famous Kyomizu-dera.

Our stay at Matsui Bekkan Hanakanzashi exceeded expectations. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully traditional while still offering modern comfort.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful 3 night stay here at Yadoya Manjiro. Upon walking in through the gate the stone path was well manicured, lush, and inviting.

This is my first time sleeping on a futon bed, and tatami room. The building is traditional and authentic and very beautiful. I was impressed by the cleanliness. The host was very kind and friendly.

Genuinely beautiful inn. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Not a lot of easily walkable restaurants nearby, but a kitchen is accessible and there are nearby grocery stores.

The location of the hotel is very comfortable to Kyoto Station. For the interior of the hotel is clean and comfy.

A fantastic find in Kyoto. Cheerful, friendly welcome at the central check in office and were able to head straight over to the Villa. We stayed in the Kaze villa which was stunning.

When we booked this place, we received almost immediate instructions via email, which was super helpful.
