Fantastic accomodation and a wonderful host who was so helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent with everything you need nearby and easy access to trains.

Our group of 9 stayed for 4 nights and were so impressed by the home but also the amazing service from our host. They are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Chie is a very nice and friendly host. The girls from the staff did a perfect job and were also very kind and friendly. I would recommend the yoga and tea ceremony.

For the price you can't go wrong. I stayed in female top bunks and they were comfy and spacious. They had Japan type two prong electric slot for charging.

A relatively inexpensive, basic, yet very comfortable, and well-located hostel for a short trip to Kyoto. Open 24/7, you can arrive late at night, as they leave your capsule key at the reception desk.

We stayed in a privilege room for 3 nights and found the room generally comfortable although lack of hanging space and drawers was a little strange.

The name suggests it’s right behind Kyoto Station, so I expected it to be very close and directly connected.

Its a great hotel, with nice staff. We were able to leave the luggage there before check in. The room is a bit small but clean. Washing machine. Free water. Its about 13 min walk from Kyoto Station.

Little bit far away from the station. But the room is okay for us. It is big in Japan standarts. After reservation the hotel crew send us a message to how to enter hotel and how to check-in.

Very unique hotel room but very comfortable. The free bar was a nice touch. The hotel is a short bus ride from the station.

Small hotel, tucked away in a relatively quiet part of Kyoto. 10 min walk to the Tambaguchi Station JR station to get to Kyoto Station, which is a 5 min journey, so very accessible.

Stayed here for 3 days. Amenities are on the first floor, along with the microwave and water. I didn’t have any problems with check-in (booked through Agoda).

We stayed for three nights here. I would consider this to be a Japanese style higher end hotel.

The stairs is steep. Taking luggage upstairs is a hassle. Cleaning service is once a week I believe because they came only once while we were here.

Amazing hotel where you are able to walk into local household area, its quiet and clean! You can have supper at midnight because there's a seven eleven store in walking distance!

I stayed in a two-bedroom room, and we slept really well! The breakfast were ''ok''. The place is clean and located in a quiet neighborhood, close to many of the city’s highlights.

The hotel is located on Kumihama Bay, peaceful stay with a beautiful view. Rooms are clean, simple, and comfortable. Breakfast is well prepared and satisfying.

This was the most beautiful experience for us here in Japan, thanks to Hiro-San who take care of every detail to make our stay pleasant as possible, very kind staff and clean hotel.

Very nice vintage like rooms, you feel like you are living in a previous, simpler time, although all the facilities are modern and convenient.

What a lovely stay my wife and I had with the wonderful lady of the house! She was very nice and gave us directions, recommendations, and even a ride!

Location is good being quite close to train stations.
Stayed in the Deluxe Twin Room, it was clean and a good size.

Stayed 4 nights here during my visit. Unit is very clean and tidy but tiny. Its a bit cramp for 4 adults to stay and share one bathroom/washroom.

I loved this hostel. The beds have curtains, it's decently close to the subway, and best of all the (free! ) breakfast is amazing. Lots of variety and the miso soup is delicious.

Such an amazing stay at this hostel! the kindness of the staff is unlike anywhere from the warm greetings and goodbyes to the breakfast served daily — it all makes me feel so at ease and at home!

Great clean, modern accommodation near Gojo station. Spacious comfortable rooms with all amenities. Big bathroom, washing machine and full kitchen.

The room was very big with all the amenities included.

Spacious room, comfortable queen size beds, a proper kitchen set and bathroom. They have washing machine and dryer. We had wonderful time there, definitely recommend it to other families.

It is a small hotel located in a quiet Miyazu. Non-face-to-face check-in is available and the owner responds kindly and guides you through how to check-in.

This is a very nice and very well located traditional ryokan.

We had wanted the traditional Ryokan experience for our first time in Kyoto. You know, the whole Tatami mats and Futons business. And Yachiyo delivered. Lovely building and room.
