Kyoto Hotels

I thoroughly enjoyed staying here! The staff were extremely kind and accommodating, and the room was very clean. I stayed in a Japanese-style room and had fun with that experience.

The outdoor communal Onsen baths are absolutely stunning, with serene natural surroundings. There are a variety of baths to enjoy. Nice amenities for post-bath.

Good for the price and space but check in process is a bit awkward. I enjoyed the stay but if you're not going to have the patience to check in by Kyoto station (30mins) I don't recommend.

Stayed here for 4 days and it was perfect for first timers and seasoned visitors. It is located in between Kyoto station, Higashiyama district and downtown. All within reasonable walking distance.

Wonderful stay with our family of five here, right in Gion and the upstairs apartment was very spacious. You have view of the river from the master bedroom. Beds were comfortable.

I have to say that I don't know the low review. It's a very good place. Food is great, service is great. It's very spacious.
Price range is also normal.
I had a very good experience these 3 days.

We had a wonderful stay at this ryokan and would absolutely recommend it. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel very welcome and took the time to show us around and explain everything.

Excellent accomodations within easy walking distance of Nijo Station. Do keep in mind that the Guest House is closed between noon and 5pm. The host, Tomi, is wonderful and very kind.

Tommy-san was very accommodating and always checked in to make sure everything is alright. Wish I could have stayed a few more nights but I’ll save that for another time.

Nice small Hotel with good equiped rooms. The location is near the subways and the Nijo castle.

Stayed there in end of march.
Amazing place with most of the amenities and very responsive owner.
Thankyou.

We liked the accommodation so much that we ended up extending our stay by an extra night. A big thank you to the owner, who was incredibly helpful and took care of everything with ease.

First day when we were there the house lady is so nice, her name is chika san! She is so caring helpful and cheerful!

Traditionel Japanese home, with everything in high quality, located in a lovely neighborhood. Absolutely loved every minute of our stay there.

Great location,
Great property with an authentic feeling, friendly host, amazing shower.

Traditional feel. Neighborhood is quiet and quant with cute cafe next to a brooke nearby.

Having arrived earlier than usual check in time at Hotel Minato, we were made very welcome and told that we could check in and leave everything in our rooms.

Great stay at the hotel. Service was amazing, they really went out of their way for us. Breakfast and coffee was excellent — filling and delicious. Rooms are clean and nice.

I absolutely loved loved my stay here. Was super peaceful and I love that you get your own space. Also there's a bath which was a blessing after a lot of travelling.

Shizuya is a beautiful hotel, I loved the cosy atmosphere starting from the lobby.
I also want to recognize the amazing staff who is very professional and nice.

This place was perfect for our three night stay. The room was spacious enough for all of our bags, bathroom was lovely, and the location was perfect.

The exterior of the hotel is really nice, inside is basic but still nice. Location was definitely the best part, really well located!

Wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. The common kitchen and interaction around the large table encourages open discussion and sharing of experiences by people from every walk of life.

We had a lovely stay at Fujitaya. We had a very quiet and convenient room with a lot of space. Definitely great value for the price.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful 3 night stay here at Yadoya Manjiro. Upon walking in through the gate the stone path was well manicured, lush, and inviting.

Probably the best hotel experience I‘ve ever had. The rooms are beautiful, the location is amazing and the service and hospitality is the best I have ever seen.

A wonderful Ryokan experience. Kind and warm hosts, who made us feel immediately at ease and treated us as their own family.

I've been here since spring, and I've always been amazed by the food, and today, for the fourth time, I cooked some kind of hijiki, and the concentrated flavor and crispness of the konjac, sweet
