Absolutely loved our time here. 6 of us stayed here together (including kids ages: 2, 7, and 10). Would love to come back.
Ryokan felt traditional and had character yet remained very comfortable.

What a great way to experience living in a Kyoto. The house was lovely and well equipped, sleeping on the tatami mats was fun and comfortable.

Great japanese style accomodation. Sento was clean and a good temperature and rooms were clean but be prepared harder night's sleep as the Japanese futons on the ground.

This stay at the Uji Ryokan was the most memorable experience of my two weeks in Japan. The rooms, onsen, breakfast and setting are divine.

A nice hotel by the serene Uji river. A great place to relax and have a quiet get away from hustle bustle city for a day.

Great location as it is center to most walkable attraction. We eesily plan our walking day trip from here.
Rooms are just nice for a small family.

A great little place, just a short walk from the train to Fushimi Inari, the Gion area, Nishiki Market and Kiyomizu Dera.

Kasuya was amazing and very accommodating. The airbnb is close to convenience stores and grocery store. It was a very enjoyable stay. Both the kids and adults had a great time!

Staying at this Airbnb in Kyoto was such a great experience! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed.

Wonderful stay with our family of five here, right in Gion and the upstairs apartment was very spacious. You have view of the river from the master bedroom. Beds were comfortable.

Stayed here for 3 nights, and all I can say was how much I loved staying here! It's such a close walk to the main area of Shijo, and you can also take a nice stroll by the Kamo River as well!

The room is big and clean. We enjoy the unities including washing machine and dryer! The room service is not an everyday routine and we need to do some work by ourselves—which is good for this price.

Room size is good, and can even do stretches/exercise in there, so that was great!

I absolutely loved loved my stay here. Was super peaceful and I love that you get your own space. Also there's a bath which was a blessing after a lot of travelling.

Shizuya is a beautiful hotel, I loved the cosy atmosphere starting from the lobby.
I also want to recognize the amazing staff who is very professional and nice.
