Kyoto Hotels

First time traveling to Japan, we found out this place to practice traditional Japanese archery. Really kind people working in there and amazingly friendly people.

The location is great. Literally on the street with many stores, restaurants and activities.
The room is large, no huge. It has both a traditional living room with tatami and a modern living room.

This was everything we could have hoped for and more. A perfectly picturesque place to stay that hit every mark for us. Traditional, yet modern. Cozy, but never cramped.

One of the best stay in kyoto and I would suggest to splurge little bit and book this hotel, I dont even know where to start but it was very different experience over all and I must recommend it to

I stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time in Kyoto.

The place was very nice highly recommended. Very clean, a lot of amenities and close to 2 convenient stores and 1 food store.

I was there with my family and we couldn’t find anything better. Great place, nice position and welcoming people. The room was bigger than expected with some place to allow my kid to play.

I have been studying abroad in Japan for a little over 3 months, and stayed at Stay Sakura for around 50-60 days over the course of these past 3 months.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s in a great location, making it very easy to get to all the interesting spots in Kyoto.

The hotel was great, honestly the only thing I didn't like was not having a window. Also my allergies went crazy here too but the main lady who works there was so nice and accommodating!

Honestly this was a gem of a find. It is on the bus route (less than a 2 minute walk) or by the subway station (3-4 minute walk maybe).

Nice experience with japanese style house. The owner stopped by to tell us where to see a nice sakura view at the day I visited. We have tons of excellent photos thanks to her.

Wow! I’m actually gutted we have to leave after 2 nights. Traditional Japanese townhouse that is nicely located for transport in Kyoto.

Great clean, modern accommodation near Gojo station. Spacious comfortable rooms with all amenities. Big bathroom, washing machine and full kitchen.

The room was very big with all the amenities included.

Great apartment with a lovely host who used Google Translate to explain everything. Fabulous location very close to Nishiki market. Very fast Wi-Fi also!

We stayed here with our ten month old baby. It was perfect for our short stay in Kyoto. Highly recommended guesthouse in a fantastic location, just minutes from Nishiki markets.

The house is amazing, spacious, modern and stylish, with nice dining area, a huge (really huge! ) bath and a big soft bed upstairs.

Fantastic hotel. Very comfortable stay for us. Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to Kyoto station and bus stop.

I like the location and the place but the check-in place is not at the hotel location. It is about a ten-minute walk there. I think it is called the quest check-in service.

We stay for 4 nights.
Great location as it is center to most walkable attraction. We eesily plan our walking day trip from here.
Rooms are just nice for a small family.
We enjoy our stay here.

A great little place, just a short walk from the train to Fushimi Inari, the Gion area, Nishiki Market and Kiyomizu Dera.

High quality renovation and design. You will sip your morning coffee imagining you could spend a month exploring Tokyo from such an amazing home.

Great location in Kyoto close to Nijo Castle, comfortable room, plenty of space (for Japanese standards).

Excellent sized room for 2 people which so rarely happens in japan.
Wonderful customer service, I had my simcard posted to the hotel and they helped me with that.
Bathroom a good size.

A beautiful traditional Japanese hotel located on a charming old street. The staff were extremely kind and attentive. The room was very clean.

Everything looks like the pictures, the service is exceptional, breakfast is also great and the rooms truly cozy and welcoming.

Great to be completely on our own for some days!
We had the small house with Western table and chairs an a Japanse ceramic bath!

Fantastic authentic inn located in gion area. Very quiet. Steep steps to sleeping so able bodied only. Air con. Lovely communication and greeting by staff.

Stayed in the goth Kuromi room and it was so great! Theming was on point, accomodations were very big to Japan standards, washing machine and balcony included in the room.

We stayed at this hotel in Kyoto. The location is quite far from tourists attractions. The hotel room wasn’t that clean. They had laundry which was great.

The room is big and clean. We enjoy the unities including washing machine and dryer! The room service is not an everyday routine and we need to do some work by ourselves—which is good for this price.

Room size is good, and can even do stretches/exercise in there, so that was great!
