It’s quite unfortunate to see so many bad reviews here. I’m not judging anyone, everyone’s entitled to their opinion.

The warm welcome and thoughtful explanation of the facilities reflect a level of hospitality that feels genuine and rare.
The space is well-maintained, peaceful, and carries a comforting atmosphere.

I had a great stay at Snooze Hostel Malang.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Had an absolute great stay in this hostel. It's near to the train station. It has everything, including pantry and open space for resting or work.
Ample of space available in the bed area.

If you’re going to Malang you have to go to this hostel!
First of all it’s in a very nice and quiet area, with cozy common space in a beautiful garden.

The hostel and especially the owner Vico is amazing. He took so good care of all his guests and planed the tour perfect.

Hello Ninap Hostel Banyuwangi! I had a wonderful stay at Ninap Hostel. The place was tidy, clean, and very comfortable.

Very friendly host with a clean and modern hostel, great place to stay if you want to hike Mount Ijen, in a quiet location by a stream it’s a nice place to relax after the hike.

We didn’t sleep in Mador Hostel ourselves, but joined the 3-day East-Java Tour with them.

2D1N tour of Bromo and Ijen was one of the highlights of my trip. The group was amazing. Mador hostel was very organised and everything ran smoothly.

Just got here about an hour ago, and it’s super comfy! (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)
The floor is clean, the bathroom is huge, the blanket smells nice, and the room is nice and cool~

An amazing stay in Malang! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I stayed at Butik Capsule Hotel during my trip to Malang and couldn’t have made a better choice.

We had an incredible experience with Semeru Hostel in Malang!

The 3D2N was amazing. Everything perfectly planne. Everything on time. People very nice. Don’t be afraid of the odd meals, they are good and no bad-belly here.

So, we loved it here! We stayed for 7 days in a private room with shared bathroom. No complaints, the staff was amazing and helped us with all our questions.

We stayed in the private AC room, which had a lovely loft and window to look at the city. It was clean, cozy and comfortabele.

Had a perfect stay here, extended twice staying 6 days in total. Room is perfectly clean and comfortable with AC. Great value for money, private parking available, free water refill, coffee, tea.

What a gorgeous hostel and incredible staff. We arrived late and they made sure we could still check in. The hostel provides tons of recommendations for food, bikes, activities.

Perfect hostel for trekking Ijen and exploring Banyuwangi. The accommodation had everything we needed including water, laundry, tea/coffee, hob for cooking and some cute chill areas.

I am a solo traveler who planned to stay in Malang for day trips to Sewu waterfall and Bromo crater back in May.

We left early due to medical circumstances but got the extra nights we had booked refunded, which we think is very wholesome and kind — as per policy they were not obligated to do so! Very thoughtful

One of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed at the staff for lovely and the facilities were great not to mention the amazing views and scenery!

Wow! I’m just amazed by what they got inside the room. Free Netflix, guides and even massage sessions. But the way more amazing part is they kept international multi plug.

I stayed at this hostel for 3 nights and had such a memorable experience. The owner and staff are incredibly warm and friendly. I genuinely felt a connection with them throughout my stay.

We had the best stay with TWD hostel. The rooms were clean and the air con was great. The breakfast was also lovely.

The location is perfect, at the center of the city close to the train station, old town, shopping centers and recreational area. Services are basic but decent.

I booked a stay here while planning my Ijen crater hike and it turned out to be an excellent choice.

This was some of the best service I’ve ever had in my life! I had to be up at 2am to make it to Ijen so I picked this place because it rented it’s own motorbikes to save time and get more sleep.

This Place is Cheapest you will find in Banyuwangi with Spacious Room, Private Bathroom and Air-conditioning, Free Coffee and Breakfast. Onwer Noni is really kind and very helpful.
