One of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed at the staff for lovely and the facilities were great not to mention the amazing views and scenery!

The place itself is very pleasant — incredibly relaxing and peaceful. There’s hot water (a rare perk in this price range), excellent staff, breakfast included, stable internet, and a very green, lush environment.
This isn’t a downside, but something to keep in mind — it’s not close to Ijen. Don’t make the same mistake I did: if you're planning to hike the volcano, staying here isn’t any more convenient than staying in Banyuwangi.

A stay here is far more than just a place to sleep. You can truly feel the nature. A nice breeze also makes it cool and there is no need for AC. It was also nice to hear natural sounds instead of loud exhaust fumes elsewhere.
About the location — it's not close to anything but Ijin.

The staff working here were amazing kind with us. They help us a lot, also they organize different activities which were well organize with nice peoples and with a good price.

The bamboo house offers a clean and calm stay. For me a standout feature is the shower with a view of the surrounding nature, providing a relaxing experience. The food served is delicious and very affordable. The couple managing the property are humble and very helpful. Highly recommended for a peaceful retreat.

Perfect Location for Ijen. You can chill in the bamboo House in the hammock and fall asleep to the beautiful noise of the nature! One of the best hostels I've been so far on my travel.

Just finished my stay here. What a lovely place! Muji and his family are lovely people, and the outdoor spaces are fantastic for chilling out. I think most people stop in for a quick visit to hike into Kawah Ijen. I stayed longer and I’m glad I did!
Ask for Qim Qim if you’re going to Ijen. Best guide ever!
And check out the local coffee shop. Also fabulous!

Didn’t expect much, but now I wish I had more time to rest there!
Cozy bungalow by the river, good quality bed, hot shower, friendly staff — everything one might need when exploring Ijen area.
Definitely gonna be back again!

What a hidden gem!
We were welcomed extremely warmly by Muzi (his English is perfect).
The place itself is just stunning. Completely build into the natural surrounding. We loved the room next to the river… such a amazing atmosphere and sound.
This was by far my favorite accommodation in Indonesia (price / value).
Do not hesitate to stay here.

We have recently stayed in Bamboo & B and loved our short stay. The hut has amazing views and is surrounded by greenery which makes it very peaceful and relaxing. We had the place to ourselves for a couple of days (October is a low season).
Staff was super helpful and organised for us trips to Ijen and Sukamade Nature Reserve, as well as the transport to the Banyuwangi ferry port. Our both drivers were amazing! 🙏
Breakfast was very tasty, maybe it could be a bit bigger (my partner paid for extra portion each morning). Since the location is so remote finding other food places were quite difficult but, there is a good resto (Adung Adung) about 20 minutes walk away.
Altogether great spot to visit in East Java!

When I first arrived by motorbike I was doubtful because of the rocky path into the compound, but I quickly found this B&B to be the most charming place I've ever stayed in. The staff was super nice, helping me to move my bike into a better spot and preparing umbrellas when it rained. The treehouse was fully surrounded by nature, I worried about mosquitoes at first but actually never encountered any! The shower was water coming out of a bamboo pipe but it was hot and good. The transport to Ijen was also very reasonably priced, and the food also was very good and cheap. I easily slept to the sound of rain before heading out to Ijen. Overall it's a very chill place and I would definitely love to come back here just to stay with them!

After three very fertile accommodations in Licin that I checked. I found these by accident and it was the coolest in Java. It has great views of the volcanic environment and rice fields, the best Wi-Fi in all areas and hot showers, delicious breakfast and beautiful garden.
The owner is also very friendly.

What a great find on the way to Ijen! The structure at Bamboo and B is well-designed and functional. There is a cool space to hang out on the top floor with plenty of electrical outlets, Wi-Fi, hammocks, and even a guitar to enjoy. The bathrooms are clean with hot water, which isn't as easy to find as you might think for this price. We technically did not stay in the rooms as we parked our campervan here, but the staff and owner were extremely accommodating and gave us helpful tips for our travels. The driver we booked through them for Ijen was fairly priced and friendly. The adjoining restaurant provides good lunch and dinner options, and there are other warungs within walking distance if you're staying for a while and looking for more variety.

One of the most beautiful places I've hever staied in Indonesia, perfect for relaxing after ant before climbing ijen volcano. The facility is super special with acozy room's and amazing view. The breakfast is great and stuff ver helpful and nice.
I'm highly recommend you to stay there;)
