We left early due to medical circumstances but got the extra nights we had booked refunded, which we think is very wholesome and kind — as per policy they were not obligated to do so! Very thoughtful and comsiderate staff:)
Sleeping here is a unique experience, maybe not for the weak of heart, especially not when it comes to insects and spiders;) We knew what we signed up for, and as long as you are aware of this when booking, it is a very cool possibility to sleep in a bamboo hut in the jungle, being lulled to sleep by the sound of the river stream downhill, the crickets and the birds. Obviously there is a clamboo/mosquito net fit for the queen size bed and we did an extra check so as to not have any insects in it before going to sleep and tugged it under the mattress where possible:)
Very pretty butterflies, well tended garden, and pretty views guaranteed! We slept there during the rain and were worried for a second how watertight the roof would be, but we have not felt a drop:) So all was fine and the sound of the rain on the roof and plants/canopy was lovely! If you enjoy camping (not (just) glamping! ) and the outdoors this is 100% for you, especially if you are a bit adventurous-minded:)
Breakfast options are broad and delicious (we had pancakes with what seemed to be homemade cocoa paste and alternatively jam).
Oh one tip: There is a mosque nearby I think, it didnt sound like regular prayer, but there were (quite loud) some kind of announcements made a little distance from the resort every 2-4 hours or so nightly — so if u wake easily at change in sound, maybe bring earplugs, my husband didnt notice but I did, so if u have plugs you can decide to put them in before falling asleep (but youd miss most of the crickets and water sounds hihi) or just the first time it wakes you up:)
