Ninap hostel

Wonderful stay in Ninap Hostel! The cleanest hostel I have seen in Indonesia, and very comfy for the price. Rani was super caring during the stay and his Wi-Fi makes incredible banane Pancakes (among other things). The location is great too, it is location in a nice residential area so it is very quiet. Ijen tour has a nice price from the hostel.

I stayed at Ninap Hostel as part of my Bromo & Ijen tour, and it was honestly one of the sweetest experiences of my trip. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming — so friendly and attentive from the very first moment.
Everything was spotlessly clean: the room, the bathroom, the common areas — everything felt fresh and well taken care of. I stayed in a private room with air conditioning, which was super comfortable and cozy. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the train station, making it really easy to arrive after a long journey.
The breakfast was excellent, with a warm, homey vibe. I loved that I got to meet other travelers and make new connections over coffee in the morning.
This place truly felt like a little home away from home. Thank you so much to the team for being so lovely — you made my stay unforgettable. 💛✨

I stayed at this hostel for a few days to visit Ijen, and the hospitality was truly amazing. The hostel was very clean, well-organized, and felt just like home. The owners were incredibly friendly! they took me out for dinner and brought me to a local competition, which made me feel so warmly welcomed! I created so many wonderful memories here, and it was truly the best hostel experience!

This was a beautiful hostel that was always very very clean. It had a very relaxed atmosphere. Ramon and his wife were wonderful hosts — very kind and attentive and we really enjoyed the banana pancakes for breakfast. We will be back one day when we return to Banyuwangi :)

The room was clean, nice and comfortable but, I have asked the owner or manager that can you help me to book train ticket for me to back to Jogja because I need to work, he told me that he don't have the app and I don't need to book in advance but the true is when the day after I come to train station, they have limited of train head to Jogja and better to book in advance.
Also after very tired of the trip, he ask me if I want a breakfast now I ask for the maximum time I can eat he said 12 pm… when I come down on time after resting from morning trip ít was run out and he said if I want, I can cook myself.
Even all the kind and polite before just turn out very disapoint because I have to wait 3 hours or 5 hours in bus station (the train was gone) to have the next bus to Jogja.
Btw, I have checked some infở in advance already but the train and the bus here can change in internet any time so better to book in advance don't just go with the flow.

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay—everything was perfect from start to finish. The room was clean, cozy, and well-designed, offering a truly relaxing atmosphere. The service was exceptional; the host was warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Plus, the location was ideal—close to restaurants, shops, and main attractions, yet peaceful and quiet. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely return!

I stayed here for 2 nights and it was amazing. The room was confortable and clean with AC. The owner Roni, his wife and the staff are all friendly and helpful. They organized my tour to Ijen volcano which was really amazing and I have also been invited to a cultural ceremony which takes place in the city once a year and I really enjoyed it!
The breakfast has different choices and was delicious :) I hightly recommend you this place if you stay in Banyuwangi. Thank you so much for this welcoming stay!

We have been travelling across Asia for months and this is the best accommodation we have ever had. The owner is extremely kind and helpful person. The manager Roni and his wife made our stay so comfortable. The room is very clean and have everything that you need. The breakfast is delicious and they organised the tour for us. We highly recommend this place as you can feel there like in home. Thank you!

We stayed there for a night with my whole family, it was really nice. Really clean and tidy. Simple and cozy. Enough sunlight in every room. My kids loves the bunkbed so much. We don't want to leave lol, it was that nice and comfy and feel's like home. Right in front of the river, the morning ambient was really nice. There's no special smell when u enter the house because the air circulation were really good. Everything was just perfect. And the hot water was working really well. We have no complaints at all. The people who take care of the Hostel live right next to it, so the check in and check out was really smooth. Also thanks to them, the wife and husband. They were super welcome and nice people. They clean the property really well. If only there's a pool it will be so perfect. But still, really recommend this place if you come for backpackin to Banyuangi or come with ur big family. It's awesome. The kitchen, the room, the bathroom and the bed sheets and refrigerator was all cleaned really well. Definitely will come back and stay here again. Thank u Ninap hostel! ❤❤

We stayed at the private room. Very satisfied with our stay at Ninap Hostel. The facilities are very clean and well maintained. Wifi and hot water are working properly. Also have water dispenser so no need to worry about water. Breakfast was also very delicious, they helped us pack our breakfast for morning trips. Special thanks to pak Roni for arranging all trips last minute, he also gave us recommendations that made our trip perfect. Overall 10/10 for the value for money, service, cleanliness, and facilities.
