ROOM Hostel Near Ijen

Very cheap hotel, the amenities are bare minimum tho. Loving the trip that they offer, very practical. One bad experience is only the breakfast which ready by 8, as a morning person it's too late for me, other than that great experience 👍🏽

I’m booking room for 1 night because need place to put my stuff for kawah ijen trip. The location so close to station banyuwangi city (8 minutes). The service was good. The CS give all the information needed. For room quite clean, the AC was cool. And has 2 comfy place in each floors. Has pantry so we can refiil our bootle, make coffee or tea and thats free.

We stayed for a night and fay because we were going to do the Mnt Ijen tour. We asked for a late checkout, which was possible, but we had to pay a little extra but it was fine. The staff was friendly and the lady at the front desk spoke some English which made communication easy. The roos and bathrooms were clean and the AC worked well. They provid earplugs, that is great service. The food was also very good. They provide soap in the bathrooms, Wi-Fi, drinks and snacks. All in all a very good and pleasant experience. I would recommend this hostel.

Booked a custom-made Ijen and Bromo Tour through the hostel. The trip was well organized and Putri was always available to help us.

Stay here for 5 nights and it was really great. The room is clean and comfortable, the staffs were very helpful. Definitely worth the money 👍

Two nights I stayed here to accompany my friend, I felt comfortable and at home.
Here, I could meet and chat a little with foreign guests, the service was friendly, there was a place for ablution and worship (for Muslims), and on the second floor, you could relax or work.
Although the room was small, the ambiance was very comfortable, there was access to TV, YouTube, Netflix, and stable Wi-Fi connection. An added bonus, unlimited access to the kitchen (you can make tea, coffee, or simply refill your water bottle).
One thing I found slightly inconvenient: the accommodation didn't provide toothpaste, so you should be prepared to bring it from home or buy it at the accommodation.
The accessibility from the highway is very close, and it's considered in the city center. You don't need to worry about ordering food online or using online transportation.
Someday, I will consider staying here again.

Such a cozy place! I booked 2 dormitory rooms via Traveloka and got the best price! love their hospitality, the staffs are really nice and helpful. The room is clean, spacious, and the AC is cold. The toilet is clean, smells nice, and they have heated water (only on 2nd floor). They always clean your room in the morning.
The Wi-Fi works just fine (i use it for youtube and tiktok).
They have tours options for Bali and Banyuwangi as well, just ask!
They serve breakfast menu for only 20k rupiah and you literally get everything.
The location is very strategic, its near Brawijaya/Karangente Bus Terminal (walking distance) and 7 minutes (bike ride) to Banguwangi Train Station.
Food options around the area is not much, but you can always order through gojek/grab.
I had a great time in Room Ijen Hostel, and would love to go back!

Absolutely brilliant place to stay. Extremely clean, great facilities, free drinking water, tea, coffee and delicious breakfast. Lovely terrace area. Information and ability to book Ijen tours at a good price. Really friendly staff!

Stayed for one night in one of their double bed rooms and it was a pleasant experience. Cleand, shared bathroom with water heater, and communal kitchen are available. This hostel is perfect for solo travelers or backpackers who expect a proper accomodation and meeting new friends along the trip.

Amazing hostel! Everything is perfect, clean, good smelling and authentic. The bathroom is nice, clean and has a good water pressure, they also have Led mirrors, hair dryer, etc. They also provide an Ijen tour and if you want to rent a motor bike, it's also available. And the most important thing is their hospitality is amazing and out of my expectations (in a good way)
