A great budget-friendly hostel for a short stay or transit. The location is quite close to the train station, making it very convenient. The hostel is clean, the hot water works well, and the staff are friendly and efficient. There are different room options, including bunk beds and female-only dorms, which is a nice touch. I only stayed here for a transit, but overall it was a pleasant experience. Definitely worth considering if you're looking for an affordable place to stay.

Normally I hate hostels but this one was so nice. The Staff is very very friendly, there are not many other people and mostly Indonesians which are very respectful and quiet. They have a Small and clean kitchen which helped me too. The beds are very comfy.
One of the Staff, Riyan, helped me with my ticket to another City, he is the sweetest 🫶

Well, where do I start?
It’s quite unfortunate to see so many bad reviews here. I’m not judging anyone, everyone’s entitled to their opinion. But let me share my experience instead:
1. I arrived around midnight, clearly outside of normal working hours. Still, I received very detailed check-in instructions, honestly, it felt like hotel-level service for a hostel! The directions were super clear, and they kindly answered all my messages with great politeness.
2. Facilities: Air-conditioned room, Wi-Fi, towel, personal locker, water refill station, fridge, kitchen, and shared bathroom with tissue and soap. Everything worked well.
3. The rooftop? Amazing! It’s a real gem, clean, chill, and perfect for backpackers. For such an affordable price, the cleanliness really stands out as a big plus.
4. Cleanliness: Top-notch! They truly treat guests like people coming into their home, and you can feel that through how well they maintain the place.
5. They also rent motorbikes, and sell food and drinks if you ever get hungry.
6. Located around 2 km from Banyuwangi Kota Station, easy to find and well-connected.
7. The biggest highlight for me is the hospitality. The staff are polite, informative, and always ready to help. The receptionist knows exactly how to treat people kindly. Their messages are always full of “thank you” and “sorry”, small gestures, but they really make a difference.
Overall, I’d definitely come back if I get the chance.
