Where do I start?
I arrived early in the morning since my train came in early and they kindly allowed me to check in early, considering I was carrying heavy luggage. That was already a huge relief!
1. Facilities: Free Wi-Fi, soap, shared bathroom, water refill, and personal lockers, all provided and well-maintained.
2. Location: Super strategic! It’s less than 1 km from Malang Kota Station, very easy to reach. There’s also a nice local eatery right next door, definitely worth trying!
3. Staff & Service: This is the real highlight. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, truly hotel-level hospitality. They even helped me move my rented motorbike into the garage and carefully looked after my belongings. Their politeness and care really left a great impression.
4. They also allowed me a late check-out, just in case I got delayed from my Bromo trip (though I ended up on time! ).
Overall, this place deserves more recognition. Friendly staff, great location, and warm hospitality, I’d absolutely stay here again! 🌿

The hostel itself is pretty decent for the price. However, they lock the front door to the hostel at night and don't properly inform guests about this. While this was frustrating for us as we nearly missed our 5am tour (luckily the driver waited), it could be very dangerous in the case of a medical emergency, fire, etc. One of the staff does sleep in the building however, none of this was communicated to us at the start. FyI — if you do have an early tour, you can request that the doors are opened. Would recommend both texting the number and telling the staff.

Best location in Malang!
Just a short walk to Kayutangan and Alun2.
Staff were great.
Clean shower room and bedroom with cool AC.
Kopitiam just next door.
Dorm room bit cramped with bunkbed, your luggage have to be kept in the locker outside.
And they don't provide towel, so don't forget to bring your own.

The owner made sure we were well taken care of and very comfortable! Helped us with booking train tickets and anything else we needed. Stayed in multiple places in Malang and this is the best. Very good location also!

Located in the heart of Kayutangan Heritage, Malang. Surrounded with restaurant and great street foods. The owner is very kind and accommodating. They also provide clean towel, soap, sacheted shampoo, clean room with air conditioner, common refrigerator, free Refill mineral waters coupled with coffee and tea plus sugar. The Wi-Fi is quite fast. Overall you'll get an excellent service for a very affordable budget.

It is located in the center of Malang, walking distance to many cool and historical places of the city.

I'll definately stay here again when I'm visiting Malang the future.

Perfect! Recommended room to stay in Malang area. The dormitory was very clean, and so comfortable. Even the price was so cheap, only IDR 65K, but totally this hotel give you 5 star experience. Obviously, will comeback to this hotel soon while having trip in Malang for next day. The owner also very humble person in the earth, thank you, Pak 😁
