I stay here for about 7 nights, everything is perfect:
The kitchen, refrigerator, dispenser, gas stove (if you want to cook your own meals). I choose these hostel rather than 4-5 stars hotel because I can chit chat with other travelers or backpackers, and it’s fun for me. By the way, the hostel crew are very nice and friendly. You will always see the crew cleaning every day.

A wonderful stay. We had three nights here and loved it from the moment we stepped in. The staff are all so genuinely lovely and helpful, constantly wanting to ensure your stay is perfect. They answered all of my questions thoroughly, helped with restaurant and activity recommendations, and arranged transport for us to our next destination. Communal spaces are big, clean and welcoming, and the room (we had the deluxe double with private bathroom) was huge and brilliant value for money. Cannot recommend enough!

This hostel is located in a beautiful townhouse area surrounded by greenery, with lots of plants and a very relaxing atmosphere. One of the best things about this place is how quiet it is. There is no motorcycle or traffic noise at all, both during the day and at night.
In the daytime, it’s perfect for backpackers to relax, read a book, plan trips, or just enjoy some peaceful time on their phones. At night, the environment becomes even better for sleeping — calm, silent, and very comfortable after long days of traveling.
Even though the price is very affordable, the facilities are excellent. There is a large common area and a well-equipped kitchen. The bed spaces are spacious enough to sit upright without hitting your head, and each bedroom has its own bathroom. In addition, there are many shared bathrooms and toilets, all extremely clean and well maintained. High-speed Wi-Fi covers the entire villa.
Cleanliness here is truly impressive. You can always see the staff working hard to keep everything in perfect condition. All shower amenities are brand new, and the hygiene standards are top-level.
The staff are friendly, professional, and always smiling. Whenever I had questions, they were happy to help. I would especially like to thank Melan (美兰) — she was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. Her warm attitude made me feel very welcome and comfortable during my stay.
Overall, everything about this hostel is excellent.

Snooze Hostel in Malang was the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. It truly feels like home. The staff are incredibly kind and sweet. The hostel is unbelievably clean — you can see it being cleaned all the time. The rooms are lovely, and there are many great cafés and restaurants nearby. Simply perfect.

Amazing hostel, welcoming and attentive staff, nice rooms, everything is well kept. The only downside was no ac in the room, just a fan, and a window to the hall — if someone wanted to, they could easily open it and peek inside, so I had to sleep with it closed. However, I had an amazing stay, I can't recommend enough!

Best hostel I have stayed in so far! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They can also arrange various trips to the natural wonders nearby. The beds are very comfy and you have a lot of privacy with the darkening curtains. The hostel is also very clean, I couldn't find any negative points.
The location is in a quiet neighborhood, which I liked. It is a little bit further from the main sights of the city, but grab is very convenient and cheap.
Also try the Ruca cafe next door, they have some amazing bbq chicken!

Hands down one of the best hostels I’ve ever been too. The service is incredible, the girls at reception are so nice, so warm and so happy to help you with whatever you need. They’ve got recommendations on recommendations.
The beds are super clean, and in the dorm, you’ve got your own space. The ceilings are super high too, so you feel like you’ve basically got your own room.
Location is super central too. Would ++ recommend.

Top quality hostel well located in the center of Malang. Beds are extremely confortable and provide a lot of space to unpack. Cleanliness is top notch, bathrooms are big and has hot water shower. There is free coffee, tea and water. Ultimately, staff is extremely adorable and ready to help at anytime. I joined the 3D2N tour including waterfall and 2 volcanoes with their partner company and it was super well organized. I would definitely recommend for anyone to stay there to explore Malang and as an excellent starting point to explore the very East of Java island.

Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed at.
Beds were so comfy with its own private space. Staff were super nice and helpful (like super nice I swear! ). Location was also very close to where everything is in Malang! I was able to book all my tours from there as well, so this hostel really makes it easier for you!

Excellent team — The staff provided best services ever and they can even remember the name of the guests and provide good recommendation for food and tourist spot. Its 5star hotel service I would say.
Facilities super clean and comfy. The hostel has multiple people cleaning the place almost at ALL times during the day. Location in nice and safe residential neighbourhood and walkable to most attraction in town.
Tour (not operated by the hostel) are priced reasonably but be prepared for the larger group tour. A good way to meet people and make friends too.

Had a lovely stay at snooze. The pod beds are very spacious and the facility is very clean and comfortable. The highlight was definitely the lovely ladies working at the hostel reception, so friendly and take the time to know what you’re up to. Really recommend staying here.

This place could not have been any better & it more than lived up to it's lofty reputation & consistently absolutely glowing reviews. The staff was well beyond awesome & every single aspect of their concept, execution, & operation was so unbelievably impressive — day after day, night after night. I could look for an extremely long time to find something to complain about but that never happened. And, if it did, the team would have immediately jumped up & sprang into action… & I DO mean action! Their entire focus & dedication was to the comfort & security of their guests. So, what more could we ask for anyway?

What an amazing place! The team make you feel like you've lived there for forever! In Indonesia I have not come across one person that didn't make you feel welcome, but these ladies took it to a different level. There is a team constantly ensuring the communal and dorms are clean.
The dorm rooms are big enough for you to walk into your capsule. Because Malang is the starting point for a lot of people to go see the Waterfalls or Mount Bromo you will have people getting up at 5am or 12pm, but that you will have in every hostel — so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs.

I would highly recommend staying in Snooze hostel in Malang: the rooms, beds and commons parts are always super clean and we'll managed by the staff.
The beds and dorms are really confortable and it seems a really good bargain for this price.
Most of all, I would like to highlight the amazing spirit of the staff which was always there to help with the smile and in an extremely kind way.
