We had the best stay with TWD hostel. The rooms were clean and the air con was great. The breakfast was also lovely. We booked the Mt. Bromo and Ijen crater tour through the hostel and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything was so well organised and our driver and guide Al were the absolute best. Thank you so much for an incredible experience.
I initially booked this hostel for two days, but I ended up extending my stay for an entire week.
Everything here is exceptionally clean, from the well-maintained rooms and comfortable beds to the sparkling bathrooms. The AC works perfectly, and the staff is incredibly attentive—they frequently made my bed while I was out and were always happy to provide fresh towels whenever I needed them.
What really sets this place apart is the hospitality. The breakfast is a generous all-you-can-eat style, and the staff went above and beyond for me, even holding breakfast when I overslept and sharing their own lunch with me on a day I missed the morning meal. They also have a lovely terrace on the first floor which is a great place to relax.
Additionally, they were incredibly helpful in booking my Bromo tour at a very good price, which saved me a lot of hassle. They also offer bike rentals, which are super convenient—on my very last night, they even let me use a bike for free so I could rush out to get my laundry done at the last minute.
This wasn't just a hostel stay; it truly felt like I was at home. I can’t recommend it enough!

We did the three-day tour covering the waterfalls, Mount Bromo, and the Ijen Crater. We chose the group tour, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The guides were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to travel hassle-free to West Java and/or Bali.
