I stayed at this hostel for 3 nights and had such a memorable experience. The owner and staff are incredibly warm and friendly. I genuinely felt a connection with them throughout my stay. While the people of Banyuwangi are known for their kindness, this team went above and beyond.
The room was spotlessly clean, with fresh bedsheets free tea Coffee prepared for every check in. The bathroom was always well maintained, and hygiene clearly matters here.
They’re also super helpful when it comes to sightseeing, guiding you to local attractions and even helping arrange trips to Ijen.
If you're planning a visit to Ijen, this hostel is a fantastic choice, not just for the comfort, but for the people who make it feel like home.
Finally Revive I will miss you. I will come back again.

The nicest hostel I think I’ve ever stayed at. Came in the off season but the hostel still has a lowkey but social vibe. Tucked away in a gorgeous street next to fields, but close enough to walk to everything.
Beautiful spacious living areas with clean and stocked shared kitchen. The dorms and toilets were all very large and clean. Dorm beds themselves are more like mini rooms.
Finally, the staff are all so so kind. They are very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions. They sorted out my ijen tour and transport to bromo seamlessly. The ijen tour they use is also the cheapest and best in the business! Can’t wait to come back 🫶

I had a truly excellent stay at ReVive! by Snooze. The place is exceptionally clean, modern, and very well maintained. From the rooms to the shared areas, everything feels fresh and thoughtfully designed, making it very comfortable to stay in.
The facilities are superb and clearly well taken care of. One highlight for me was the spacious bunk bed, which is far more comfortable than expected. There is plenty of space to move, relax, and rest properly, which is a big plus compared to typical hostel-style accommodations.
The service was outstanding. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything needed. Their warm attitude really adds to the overall experience.
This place is also perfect for tourists planning to go to Ijen. It offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to rest and recharge before an early morning trip. Overall, Revive! by Snooze exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness, facilities, and service. Highly recommended and I would definitely stay here again.

I just stayed for a night and it already feels like home. I would say the staffs make this hostel unforgettable. I had a lonesome day after my trip in Banyuwangi and Miss Venus, the receptionist, accompanied me with light and warm evening talk. She's incredibly skillful and that definitely make me want to come again next time. Beside, the place is very clean, comfortable, and you even get all the basic amenities with this affordable price.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff is so so nice and cared a lot about me. I also loved the beautiful clean beds and kitchen with a lot of equipment to cook something for yourself. You should definitely book the ijen tour through the hostel!

I've traveled for 5 months around Southeast Asia and this is the best hostel I've stayed in. First of all the price is incredibly low considering the quality you're getting. It's incredibly clean, the the staff and very friendly and it is far away from the mosques so the loud noise from the prayers is not a disturbance. The cubicle space surrounding your bed that you get is huge and super comfy. Also has a nice common space where I was able to work on my laptop undisturbed.

I had an extremely good experience. Not only the place is very clean and tidy, the staff is simply great amd goes for extra mile.
Once I left the place I realized I forgot some belongings at the hostel. I reached out the staff amd they helped to find best solution to ensure I could get the item back in another island before leaving. I received the package exactly on time. Without their support I wouldn't have never managed. They went above and beyond. Thank you with my heart!

Undoubtedly this is the best hostel in Banyuwangi. Just an amazing stay. From location to staff to vibe, everything was superb and mind blowing. Once you check-in there, they will take every care of you. I asked them for transport, food and laundry, they fulfilled all my demands with very sweet and polite way. All the staff are super cool and very very friendly. I love them very much. Their honesty and friendly nature really impressed me. I will be visiting this hostel again and again.

I had a short but wonderful stay here. The location is in a quiet residential area, yet still close to local attractions and dining spots. It truly felt like a second home 🥹. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic. Highly recommended ☺️

A gorgeous little hostel with beautiful common spaces and ornate wooden decoration. The staff were extremely friendly, showed great interest in us individually and took great care of the place. Would 100% stay again. The location is amongst local housing, giving you the opportunity to explore a local community, with recommendations from the hosts for nice places to eat nearby.
We also took a tour organised by Snooze to Mount Bromo before being dropped off here, and it was so exceptional, I have to highlight our driver Patrick's great service! Here's what we had to say:

This hostel is absolutely amazing, good location, very spacious, clean, calm. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beds are seperate compartments, every room has its own bathroom with hot water. Great kitchen and shared spaces. Its the perfect place.

This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. The location is absolutely top. The entire place is spotless; it’s incredibly clean, modern, and clearly very well maintained. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with everything you could need, which makes cooking super convenient.
What really stood out to me was the staff – they’re all so friendly, welcoming, and truly attentive to guests. You can tell they genuinely care about making your stay as comfortable as possible. Whether it was giving local tips or just checking in to make sure everything was okay, they were always there and happy to help.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend this hostel to anyone. It’s got the perfect mix of comfort, cleanliness, and warmth. I’d definitely stay here again!

Honestly, one of the best hostels I stayed at in Indonesia. The staff are amazing! So sweet, welcoming, and always helpful.
The rooms and bunks are spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The location is great too, with easy access by scooter to get around.
It’s a quiet place in a local neighborhood, and the kitchen plus chill-out area really make it feel like home. Booking tours to Ijen and arranging transfers to other cities through them was super easy and convenient.

This hostel was incredibly clean and well-maintained — honestly, one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and everything felt fresh and new. What really made the experience special were the amazing staff members. The women working there were so friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. They made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Highly recommended — I would definitely come back!

I had an awesome time staying here for two nights! The vibe is super cozy, and even with bunkbeds, everyone gets their private space which is a nice. The place is clean and smells fresh, which I loved. All facilities are good, the kitchen and self service stuff. The staff really helpful 👍👍 The communal area is a perfect for chatting with other travelers, mostly backpackers, which made for some really cool conversations and connections. Honestly, such a fun experience! I’d totally recommend this spot to anyone visiting Banyuwangi. It’s budget-friendly and the service is on point ♥️♥️♥️
