Tokyo Prefecture Hotels

We went as a family of four and we couldn't love this place more!

This was such a great low key place to stay, my one tip would be not to leave your stuff in the communal area for too long as some of my things went missing (toothpaste and floss to be exact) but I

Wow, long overdue review since I stayed about a month ago. This hotel is nothing special but you definitely get your money's worth. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are always clean.

I would have given this 3 star but the hotel staff was friendly and kind to us. They were also honest that they got the wrong fare. The room was comfortable but a little old.

Missing Ninja Walk!
I love this hostel and the staff is really nice. Great atmosphere and great bathrooms.
There is just one thing but this is not a fault of the hostel but of the guests.

Loved this place, was supposed to stay 3 nights and ended up staying 3 weeks!
The bed is spacious and comfortable with shelves. The showers are comfortable and you have private space to change.

Lovely hotel! The staff were very nice and helpful if there was any type of problem.

Rooms are spacious enough for a solo traveler. You can opt not to have room service and they'd just give you a bag everyday to replace towels and trash bags.

Shion is Great 👍👍👍👍
The Manager is a nice guy 😄
The room in 308 could be decorated and the Aircon could blow a little stronger to cool the room.

Clean hotel and friendly staff. The rooms are small, but they do the job! the shared communal space has everything you need.

Went to Japan for the first time and stayed here.
Really nice! while the room is small, its still cozy and clean.

A good budget stay in Tokyo ; clean and comfortable, the private rooms had a sink which is very much appreciated!

The hostel is very clean and has all the facilities one could need (laundry, storage, umbrella rental, free shampoo etc). The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped me find a cheap gym.

9Adults 1 child — can fit into the large rooms.

A self serve hotel is something I've never seen done. Our place could have slept an army. It was clean, large, near trains, shopping and more. — an American.

This hotel is best for small members as the room is pretty small, we’ve got a bunk bed for 3 people in our room, but the service is very excellent!

Great location in Tokyo center. Honestly I read the reviews and I was skeptical about booking there but I don’t regret. Great service and friendly staff. Clean room.

Rooms are so comfortable and aesthetic. 10/10 one of my favorite stays in Japan.

Love the wine fridge.
This is the most high tech room we have stayed.
Beautiful room, tastefully decorated, comfortable bed and pillows.

Great location and clean facility. Beds are comfy and air conditioning was good. Stayed here over new years holidays. Good for solo travellers.

My stay at Guest House Tokyo Samurai was excellent.
The bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional.

Stunning gorgeous gorgina. Thank you 💗
The tatami and the beds were beautiful and very homely. Excellent customer service and very friendly kind staff 🫶💗
Thank you once again!

First of all the room is clean and lots of space for 4 people. I am stay with 2 kids and my husband. I like the toilet and shower is separated.

Great budget hotel: what more do you need? We arrived jetlagged and very tired but they were still cleaning so we could not check in early.

This place was great for a 3 night stay during my solo trip to Japan.

Room is small (very common in Tokyo) but location is good. Staff Muna is super friendly that m she brought me to the lounge and introduced the facilities to me. Nice treats to guests and It’s free.

Wonderful hotel. Very central and lots of offerings to guests to make the stay so seamless! Loved the location as well, very central and great lively neighborhood (but rooms were quiet).

Having read the reviews I wasn't sure that this place would be good, but it was. It's also better than the very nearby Risveglio (where I have stayed previously).

Friendly & very helpful staffs.
(I stayed Sep 13-14, 2025 B room)
Staffs are influenced in English.
Lounge and dining area are very comfortable.
Walking distance to 🗼Tokyo tower and Shimbashi station.

Highly recommend! I came in with an injured ankle and the staff were so helpful and accommodating.

There are free drinks and personal amenities at the lobby. Our rooms were cleaned daily during our stays. Walking distance to the metro station. The hotel also provides free luggage storage.

Our recent stay at Takanawa Hanakohro offered a beautiful glimpse into traditional Japanese hospitality, though there are a few operational areas where the guest experience could be more seamless.

Courteous staff, beautiful hotel.

I really liked it here. Staff was helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was convenient, with many options. Easy access to a train/bus station.

We love the place and the location. It is not too far from the train station. There are a lot of convenient stores around the hotel. There is also a mall which is at the train station.

Tucked away on a quiet street, but close to great food (Minnano Craft Beer), convenience stores, and walkable to Asakusa.

Amazing water pressure for shower, and deep tub. I go to Japan for a lot of things but the water and the baths is certainly one of them.

My most favorite capsule hotel that I've experienced in Japan. The best part was staff — very professional, friendly and helpful. My capsule was clean and comfortable.

Top location, center of the main street of akihabara. Staff are very helpful. I arrived sick and they helped with giving me a capsule closeby to its facilities.

🛏️ Room.
Compact but spotless. If you’re a couple with two large suitcases each, space will feel tight — unless you cleverly slide them under the bed (yes, there’s space).

Stayed here last year. Rooms are small but you have absolutely everything you need. Hotel is clean, staff is polite, location is very good.
