Firstly, the staff were great, they always tried their best to help with any questions we had about places to go and how to get around in Tokyo.

We were lucky enough to get the larger room with two queens. It was by far the biggest place we had in Japan in an awesome area. The sauna and cold plunge were amazing to help with jet lag.

Its a great place to stay, saunaland is not a hotel, more like a sauna place but they have some rooms to stay. We stayed in for our last night in Tokyo.

Had a fantastic time here over the 2025 holidays. Rooms were very efficient with their space, clean, and the neighborhood is very quiet. Would be happy to return.

Nice, simple and easy spot in Asakusa. Great central location to be just outside of the main area but only a 10 minute walk to get to the train station and visit other areas across Tokyo.

I truly loved our stay. Hotels in Tokyo are generally small. KANNONURA is larger as it is a town home turned hotel.

We stayed at this hotel in Tokyo for a week and had a good overall experience. The location is excellent — not far from Ueno Station and with a metro stop literally around the corner.

Minn Iriya is located at a superb location. It has a supermarket just 2mins walk away that makes it super convenient to get your daily supplies.

What I love about the room — washer/dryer, microwave oven, fridge, sofa/bed, location. I am most pleased with the ease of check-in/out. And most importantly, the dinning table.

Overall, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable for two people. The stay was pleasant, and the room condition was well maintained.

We really enjoyed our stay at Minn Asakusa Kuramae North. The location was perfect with easy access to public transport and walking distance to food and shops.

Kimi Ryokan was the best of 4 different hotels that I stayed during my recent trip to Japan. This property offers amazing value.

My family of 3 stayed here for 2 nights, good value hotel. The tatami/futton bed are quite comfortable and room have good heating during the cold nights. Necessities are all provided.

This place is very good if you want something cheap and well located in Ikebukuro.
The common areas are very clean and the staff are very kind.

What a wonderful experience. The location from the nearest station Ikebukuro station is less than 10 mins walk.

Though a little further from the train station compared to other hotels. It's strategically located above a convenience store.
A short walk from Ichiran Ramen.

Ikebukuro is a great hub: 1) It's just off the beaten path which means you can relax and not feel overwhelmed by the population density.

The room was nice with some space to move around. The kitchen was minimal but sufficient. The in room laundry was wonderful. Cloth drying racks were on the deck, so it worked perfectly.

This place was perfect for our stay, and the price was very reasonable. We stayed for two nights, and customer service was excellent, they handled all of our inquiries promptly.

Nice and cozy spot, especially if your stay is on the longer side. I found the location to very convenient, within very reasonable travel time from any interesting hot spots in Tokyo.

This hotel provides superb meals especially their dinners. Service was excellent. The rooms are large and has all the right features except the air conditioning which is too warm.

If you're looking for a hotel that can work for 3+ people, this is one of the more affordable ones. It's located quite centrally, near Hie Shrine, and 1-2 stops away from both Shibuya and Ginza.

Clean and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was the perfect size for our family of 5 and our kids enjoyed the games in the lobby.

Rooms — big enough for two people and open two big check in luggages. Bed was okay, I suggest getting the pillows offered at the lobby (different styles / tops) to your liking.

Stayed here last minute due to an emergency and we were placed into a room on the 9th floor, rooms were decently large, very clean, staff were very nice, and that VIEW! Amazing view of skytree.

Pretty good hotel that beat expectations for a pretty good price. Outside and lobby said small business hotel, but rooms bigger than expected.

I been to like 4 other hotels, this is a pretty budget one with a FREE DRINK BAR in the lobby where we can get free flow soda, coffee, cocoa, cream chowder. Honestly worth just for that alone.

Absolutely fantastic experience here. Stayed for 12 nights over September/October, and would 100% use this hotel again.

For the no nonsense traveler this is a good spot. A few mins from the Kanda train station you can easily get here from the airport. Pronto the restaurant is attached.
