Tokyo Prefecture Hotels

Super close to Haneda, very short walk to the station. Lots of shops around for food or convenience stores. The owner is super friendly, and so are the staff. Highly recommend staying here.

What a wonderful experience. If you don’t mind sleeping in bunk bed in a group room, then you’ll love this place. Common area was very welcoming with friendly guests from across Japan and the world.

Very nice hotel. No restaurant as such but the lobby has 24hr free noodles and soft drinks, also it's got a 7-11 next door which is handy for buying a meal.

We stayed at Quintessa for our travel to Japan in Nov 2025. It's a pretty nice hotel with a cosy vibe.

This is an excellent and well priced hotel for your stay in Tokyo, the rooms are compact but very clean and really well presented with absolutely everything you need, including a mini fridge for all

Compact but cosy and very well designed room with tons of amenities. Polite staff who speak enough English, which is impressive in a non-touristy area.

Room is bigger than my other hotels in Tokyo (I can open my 20, 26inch and 28inch luggage at the same time with a little bit of moving some stuffs in the room).

Breakfast buffet has great healthy selections. All is good except that hotel slippers are recycled. They need to invest having a disposable slippers.

Great restaurants inside, comfortable rooms and friendly staff.

Warm welcome and impeccable service. Spacious room and bathroom, always tidy and clean, with a breathtaking view. Common areas always tidy and clean too. Lovely breakfasts.

We had a very pleasant stay at Best Western Hotel Fino Akihabara. The location is excellent for exploring Tokyo, with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions.

The accommodation felt very safe. On 12/27, when guests forgot their belongings, the staff immediately prioritized service by notifying them as quickly as possible and verifying their documents.

Our host Mizu-San was welcoming from the start. Explained all of the rules to keep the hostel clean and tidy for everyone.

This place is well run, with extremely kind staff, the ‘capsules’ are spacious, and facilities are very clean. After 10pm the place is quiet making for a comfortable sleep after a long day.

I would really love to give this hotel 5 stars because it is rather excellent for the price. The view of the Skytree from the balcony is one good reason to stay here.

Very Modern, clean and functions, softy mattress, living perfect, kitchen wow, only not equipped, (when to be? ), Value best. Down side, location,, for the pro is super.

We stayed 4 nights here last Nov 9-12. Our room is 2 single bed in a double deck. Toilet and shower are inside our room so it’s very convenient.

Visited this hotel in the month of October.
This room is best suited for traveller with less luggage. Rooms are suited for 2 people.

Had a fantastic time here over the 2025 holidays. Rooms were very efficient with their space, clean, and the neighborhood is very quiet. Would be happy to return.

Great rooms, they've really done well in maximising the space given the floor plans etc.

Another reservation in APA chain and another nice experience. We stayed in this hotel for around a week. Everything was great.

We stayed at this hotel in Tokyo for a week and had a good overall experience. The location is excellent — not far from Ueno Station and with a metro stop literally around the corner.

Kimi Ryokan was the best of 4 different hotels that I stayed during my recent trip to Japan. This property offers amazing value.

From the moment we arrived at Kimi Ryokan, it felt like a little home-away-from-home.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The price is very reasonable and it comes with breakfast. Breakfast is just toast, coffee and soup but its a good start to the day.

This is my second time to stay in a Sakura Hotel in Tokyo, but first time here in Ikebukuro branch. Still did not disappoint.

I love all the smile hotel locations. I have been staying at smile hotels every time I visit Japan since 2023. This location is near public transportation and a 24-7 supermarket.

Typical Japanese business hotel—but that’s a good thing. The staff and crew are all friendly and speak decent English. The rooms are small, yes, but they’re clean and comfortable.

Ikebukuro is a great hub: 1) It's just off the beaten path which means you can relax and not feel overwhelmed by the population density.

The room was nice with some space to move around. The kitchen was minimal but sufficient. The in room laundry was wonderful. Cloth drying racks were on the deck, so it worked perfectly.

Its located in a quite place. So, its super okay for me.
The room is not big, but not small either. Just perfect for two persons (i took the twin room btw).

Bigger room size comparing to surrounding area with similiar price range. Recommend to try out this hotel, worth the money. Very quiet neighbourhood, peaceful rest at night.

The room size was surprisingly spacious, especially for Tokyo standards, and everything was spotlessly clean.

Regular guest! I appreciate the staff team welcoming me every time. The exceptional salon room available for hire for business meetings in central Tokyo!

If you're looking for a hotel that can work for 3+ people, this is one of the more affordable ones. It's located quite centrally, near Hie Shrine, and 1-2 stops away from both Shibuya and Ginza.

Clean and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was the perfect size for our family of 5 and our kids enjoyed the games in the lobby.

The bad reviews here are a little surprising as we had such a great stay at Candeo Roppongi.

I can say this is the best hotel I’ve ever booked in my whole life. Everything was exceptional and very high quality. We felt like home there during our 2 weeks stay in Tokyo.

Extremely nice stay perfect for a solo business traveller. They have everything — from laundry to a vending machine at your disposal 24x7!

I booked a 3-bed room. It's super compact but it could see the Tokyo Tower closely which was great.
The location was excellent.

Location is amazing. Konbini's everywhere and it's quiet. The rooms are on the smaller side but it was clean and enough.

Great rooms, good service, a wonderful budget option for travel with quick access to the Ginza line.

Booked a twin room and it was one of the largest I’ve stayed at in Japanese business hotels! Lots of places to sit and put stuff.

For around $89 including breakfast, Hotel Rilasare Tokyo is a fantastic choice for travelers seeking a modern, high-quality stay with unbeatable airport access.
