Tokyo Prefecture Hotels

We are a family with a 16 year old daughter. We booked a 3 bed room and stayed for 4 nights in this hotel and although this is our first time in this hotel, we are very impressed.

I have been traveling though Japan staying at places with similar standard (mostly 3 star hoteles, 4 stars max) and sadly I must admin this is the worst of em all.

Excellent old school hotel.
I loved the location, quite with lots of lovely restaurants around.

I booked the hotel with a promotion without shopping around and I was surprised to find out how great it is. The room is small as expected for Japanese hotels but I am impressed how efficient the

My wife and I needed a hotel close to Shinkansen Tokyo for an early train to Osaka.
Conveniently located and impeccable service. The rooms are quaint but have all the amenities one requires.

Small rooms but quiet and safe neighborhood.
Front desk staff was quick, efficient and attentive. We were lucky enough to check-in several hours early when our room was available.

I stayed here for about 11 days at the beginning of my Tokyo trip, and honestly, it was a great experience. You can come and go as you please — the place stays open 24/7.

Front desk staff is very friendly. They all really made me feel comfortable always. The tall japense guy is very helpful and polite.
Furthermore, breakfast is free and rooms are cleaned.

Very impressed with this hotel in closest proximity to Tokyo station.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel.

The interior has a clean minimalist industrial design that feels intentional without being cold—exposed materials, simple lines, and warm lighting that balance everything nicely.

Had a great 5-night stay at CITAN in a private double room with a shared bathroom. I loved the aesthetic, and the on-site cafe and breakfast were lovely, if a bit pricey.

A well-appointed and well-run boutique hotel perfectly situated in the center of Ginza. The location couldn't be beat: near major subway stops, Tsujiki fish market, and all the shops of Ginza.

We recently stayed at.
Hotel Grand Bach Tokyo Ginza and we wanted to share our experience.
From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The check-in process was smooth.

Super awesome stay. The dryer is a little bit of a challenge, but we figured it out with a little Google translate. Very kind staff and good coffee too! Love the luggage transfer services 👌🏼

This place is nice, spacious room, near train station, and also near supermarket. The facility on the room such as washing machine and microwave really helpfull.

Truly enjoyed my stay in Somerset Ginza East! The staff were very accomodating and helpful, they even gave me warm greetings for my birthday.

Very hospitable and helpful staff. Staff was accommodating and granted me time extension and allowed me to freshen up myself before taking the past midnight flight. Super grateful to them!

The room was clean, and the staff were very kind, which I really appreciated. I would definitely consider visiting again.

Great value for ~80$ CAD. Rooms are small but have been optimized and designed for compact stays. Close to Tokyo station for access to other lines as well the bullet train/Shinkansen.

A great stay to be in. It offer a high quality service in a not so urban area but it is very near to KAMATA Station which will not be any issue to go to main cities of Tokyo.

Fantastic stay at this APA hotel. Very close to Haneda airport and Shinagawa station. You have two choices of major stations to ride: Kamata and Keikyu-Kamata. The former is busier than the latter.

We had an awesome stay! It was very smooth to get to Haneda with the shuttle bus, and the area near the hotel had a convenience store and vending machines.

Thank you for everything. ^^ Our room was very clean and tidy. Having an airport shuttle service was a great advantage.

Great spot located conveniently next to the train station.

I had a very comfortable stay at Route Inn Hotel Ota Ekimae. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Ota Station, which makes travel super convenient.

This was the first hotel we check-in for our 10-day Central Japan tour. It is a 3 star hotel roughly around the price of S$170/ — per night.

New Otani inn Tokyo was a very nice hotel that was quite close to the Osaki station.

The size of the hotel took me by surprise, it’s super spacious and big for a hotel in tokyo.

Our stay at the hotel was pleasant – the service was good, the location was great, and the rooms were perfectly adequate.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a good experience overall.

Two of us stayed in a double room for 4 nights. Rooms are small, about in line with other Japanese hotels. The room was comfortable and there was no noise to speak of, which was a little surprising.

Lovely staff, clean and neat. Decent fitout, alot of custom work went into this. (Carpenter talking).

2nd time we have Stayed here at Andon. Taka is a wonderful host. Amazing breakfast, comfy rooms, warm showers, great location. Super clean, very well run Ryokan. Can't wait to come back!

A value proposition for those travelling to Tokyo on a budget. Located in the less fashionable area of Tokyo, Minami-Senju, though very close to Tokyo Sky-Tree.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Note that it is not a hotel in the sense you get your own room or bathroom. It is more like a dormitory, where you get your own private room but share the bathroom.

ART is wonderful! Excellent accommodations, down to earth vibes, super clean and comfortable. Absolutely perfect location for exploring Asakusa.

We loved the place and the location. If you want a truly Japanese experience with the basics, stay there. I would stay there again.

Very good location, close to the subway and train. Nearby shops and restaurants. Ueno Park and shopping streets within walking distance. Breakfast menu basic, but acceptable.

Positives — Convenient location for Narita Airport and Tokyo Station. There is free guest laundry and dryers only cost 100Y for 20 minutes. There is an onsen and free ice creams for guests.

I enjoyed my stay at the Dormy Inn.
Pros:
— excellent location. I loved the gritty and slightly less modern feel of Ueno compared to Shinjuku and Ginza.

Very clean and nice hotel.
Is small and bedrooms are same but are very comfortable and well equipped.
Nice bed and pillows, I didn't try the food yet but I will.

Room is okay even it’s a bit small but understandable for tokyo.

Staying in Tokyo for a week, I found this Gem, close to things to see and trainstations.

Great place to lay your head!
Clean rooms, the host was wonderful, helped me with my bags & explained everything.
Has a chill spot on the roof overlooking the river & some nice night lights.

Amazing service, also the view is great, people is friendly and the hotel is located in a good spot to travel different places of Tokyo city! Really had a good time there.

I liked it here. I was here only for 2 nights in the women’s room. It was very nice, quiet and clean.
It’s near the train station, Senso-Ji Temple (walking distance) etc. I highly recommend!

Very good tourist hotel in an excellent location near Ueno Station, with easy access to places like Asakusa and the rest of Tokyo.

This hotel is well-located in Ueno.
