It's an alright hotel for its price.
Location is good, it's near Nishi Shinjuku station.

Front desk staff helpful. Rooms are on the small side but clean. It is only a few minutes walk from the main areas of Shijuku. Metro is on a parallel road in front of the hotel.

I really don’t understand what all the negative reviews are about. This hotel is in the centre of one of the main areas of Tokyo. You could not get a better location.

Great location. Paper thin walls and tight quarters for 2. But, you probably not visiting to sit in your room.

Great accommodation, whole process was easy and the owner was quite accommodating over the phone. Great location too easy to get to other districts as multiple stations within 15 min walk.

I thought this hotel had lots of upsides especially for the price.

I travel a lot and I loved this hotel.
The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The service was impeccable, the included coffee and mini donuts all day & night is great.

Had an enjoyable one night stay here. The owner was really nice and showed us everything about the hotel. I had a great sleep on the bottom bunk.

We had a great time here. Staff is friendly and welcoming, rooms are reasonably large and clean. The Japanese ryokan style adds to the charm. What I liked most though it's the location.

I had another wonderful and comfortable stay at Annex Katsutaro Ryokan. One of the best parts is the location.

I reserved a room for 7 nights and 8 days. We came to the hotel late in the night, tired and hungry after a dreadful flight experience.

This is the best Hotel in Japan!
The room is very comfortable and cleaning! I like the top floor and could see Mt. FUJI! The breakfast is awesome and healthy!

We knew the room was small, and it was. However this was easily made up with the most comfortable bed that we slept in whilst away. The pillows were not comfortable to use.

We loved our stay here. Out of all of the hotels in Japan that we stayed at, this place had the most welcoming staff. They were very kind and also were constantly working to clean or help guests.

Fantastic little hotel. Welcoming, friendly, attentive staff. Clean, well-appointed rooms with comfy beds. Location is great — walking distance to Nippori, which is a good hub station.

I stayed here during my last trip to Tokyo. In my opinion, this place is just perfect in every way. The room is clean and tidy. The staffs are friendly and the service is great.

We stayed in a Studio room (22 sq. M. ) with a minimalist design. The room uses a PIN code entry system.

A very convenient location and is about 3 subway stations if you want to go to Tokyo station for taking the shinkashen.

Room was a good size compared to other hotels in the area. Washing machine supplied in room. Coffee machine in lobby for guests. Very close to underground railway station.

Overall a lovely hotel, close to the tozai train line, lots of eatery options around and many kombini stores. The room is spacious for Japanese standard and the bathroom awesome!

We stayed nine nights in this hotel. The first room that was given to us smelled of cigarettes. We notified the staff and they promptly offered a deep clean of the room while we were out.

It appears to be a renovated private house re-purposed as a hotel. The rooms are kept in very good condition, clean and very comfortable. The bedding and pillow is also very comfortable.

Extremely friendly owners, who personally deliver your included breakfast at your desired time. Excellent bed and bedding made for a great sleep. Can adjust heating yourself in the room.

The hotel lobby is on the fifth floor. There are shops and restaurants on other floors.

Good location just across the Nagano Station and has a Don Quijote attached to it and a Lawson kombini just outside the hotel.

Pros:
​Ideal Location: Just steps from Zenkoji Temple. Perfect for Hatsumode, especially since the hotel remains open through midnight.

Service was fantastic and the hotel had the best bathroom of our trip. Breakfast was a good mix of Japanese and Western foods.

The decor was amazingly kawaiii! The place was spacious enough for the 5 of us. Very comfortable. The place was exceedingly clean.

Kawaī! It's soooo cute! And spacious. Great having a sofa, table, kitchen, room to stand up and move around. Everything is coordinated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo. The location, rooms, comfort, and especially the staff are all exceptional.

The room is clean and comfortable, and the staff are kind, helpful and careful. Check-in makes people feel very relaxed. It will be a return visit to the hotel.

This time there were fewer foreign guests, so I was able to enjoy a much quieter and more relaxing stay.

I chose this hotel for an overnight stay before heading back to my hometown, as it’s conveniently located near the restaurant where I had a dinner reservation.

Everything is good except from the shower curtain not blocking the water properly.
Also, there is no place to park your bicycle. You have to park at public parking which is very annoying.

Staff is extremely helpful, hospitable, and friendly. The rooms are efficient and clean. The hotel is very close to everything including public transportation. Will definitely be back.

We were here last year May 2023 and had a memorable time with my family. We love the location, the interior and the functionality of all appliances were great.

We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. Its location is very close to Ginza’s main shopping area. The noise from outside is minimal, even though our room faces the main traffic.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and a spacious bathroom. Located right next to a 7-Eleven and just a short walk to the subway. Great stay overall!

Such a great time staying in an art installation and the staff is so friendly. They really helped us out with getting us a taxi and helped answer any question we had. We felt very welcome by everyone.

Incredible experience I love all the art and support they give to artists. Anna is very sweet and accommodating and so is all of the staff.

Just finished a 9 night stay for 3 in their Triple room, a very affordable option in Ginza.

We highly recommend the AC Hotel Tokyo Ginza. The location in Ginza is perfect for getting your bearings in a great neighborhood.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were always incredibly helpful, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The beds were super comfortable, which made a big difference after long days out.

Having a free buffet-style breakfast is great. You can always come back as long as you want it until 9:00 in the morning.
