Cheap Hotels in Tokyo Prefecture

Lovely hostel that is a traditional Japanese house and in a quiet neighborhood. Relatively close to well known areas like Ueno, Asakusa, and Akihabara and only a few minutes walk from a station.

I stayed here a couple months ago and cannot write more highly of both the accomodation and the staff.

Forgot to review this after I checked out on the 23rd of October. I’d say the staff were so friendly, kind and helpful.

Great place to stay on a budget. Clean, accessible and incredibly helpful and friendly staff. I stayed in a single room which is perfect size for one person traveling with small luggage.

Very good hotel, accommodation is very clean. We booked a room in building B, which has a shared bathroom and toilets.
The building is brand new and very high tech.

I arrived quite late and took a bit trail and error to get in. It is same like most airbnb houses but quite new. It is about 10 mins walk to the keisei station.

I've stayed at this hostel twice now, most recently I stayed here for 2 weeks and had an absolutely wonderful time!

Stayed here for three nights and can confidently say it is one of the cleanest and most well-organized hostels I have ever stayed in. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean, the staff were friendly

We stayed at a hotel Courtyard in Nagano that was very conveniently located near the train station. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.

The hotel is easily accessible from Nagano Station. Perfect location if you will use the Shinkansen very frequently. The room has all the basic necessities by Japanese standards.

Very clean and comfortable. Excellent value for the price and location. I appreciated that it was women-only, it felt calm and safe inside.

I stayed twice at the Akihabara Bay Hotel: the first time for a 7-night stay, then for a 3-night stay.
It’s a simple but efficient capsule hotel.

Despite having stayed in capsule hotels many times, I did not expect to enjoy this place as much as I did.

Really enjoyed staying here! Loved that they have a lovely onsen that you can use if you stay at the hotel. The facility is really cool, you use wristbands to unlock everything.

Rooms — they allowed my daughter to stay with us. It was our choice. For its price and location this is one of the best.
Service — they will assist you no matter what.

Check in was relatively painless. Staff are polite, competent, and have a good command of spoken English. Rooms are quite small. There is a tiny bathroom with small tub, shower, and toilet.

Great capsule hotel. Has the usual amenities for a capsule hotel such as shower, eating area (on the smaller side), and lockers.

The value is not too bad and in a great location with a 7-Eleven nearby and a family mart across the road. It is a capsule hotel so you get what you paid for.

Nice hotel and great staff. They helped us booked taxi, they stored our luggage and the room was quiet and comfortable. Excellent shower and comfortable bed.

We are in camping site at Toshiki and it was continuously raining so we booked in emergency and found hotel BedTeaBook near motomachi.

1166 Backpackers is cozy and authentic. The staff is enormous helpfull: Whether you need help planning your next day trip or help understanding the bus ticketing system.

We had a wonderful stay at this very welcoming hostel. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, organized and offered great advice. We highly recommend this hostel; we didn't want to leave!

Fantastic stay! The whole place is super bright and incredibly clean—definitely a huge plus for shared lodging.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days after arriving in Japan while waiting for other arrangements to be finalized, and couldn't be more happy to have been at this location.

Staying at Rembrandt Cabin & Spa in Shimbashi was a truly relaxing and memorable experience.

Very good quality hotel. The rooms were spotless and stocked with high quality services including dimming lights, kettle, spacious couch, desk and comfortable beds.

Really good comfy room for 2, had a good communal space and clean showers and bathrooms. The place was very central in the town, which made it easier for us to get to restaurants and supermarkets.

We had the large room, actually a small apartment at the 1st floor. It is good for a bigger group. Clean and well equipped. Good location in the center of Honson. Friendly owner.

Booked my last minute trip to Tokyo and I managed to book in this hotel. I think the price I paid was reasonable for the date I booked and it's quite a high season in Japan. I was travelling solo.

Very clean room and shower. Comfortable beds.
We as a foreigner did not know the jet boat had stopped due to the weather condition and booked a sand sauna.

A charmingly comfy little apartment stay out towards the airport in a quiet area.

Decently sized Tokyo apartment for one or two people. It also has an elevator. It's a bit far from the station and central Tokyo, but close to Haneda airport.

I love this place. The staff and the people staying there are so kind. Everything is clean and cleaned daily, and theres no unpleasant odors.

Stayed here for our last 3 days in Tokyo. The hotel is about a 17-minute walk from Minami-Senju Station and close to several konbini (7-Eleven, Lawson, Shimadaya).

It's a few shared bungalows in a remote area of Chichi-Jima island, and you're in the middle of nature. For me what really made the stay fantastic was the staff and other guests.

Positive: Absolutely amazing. The staff are kind, attentive and patient. A little far from the city centre but that didn't matter since Shanti offered a pick up and drop off ride.

My stay at the Global Hotel was great! The location of this place is amazing! So many greats things within waking distance! The staff were friendly and helpful!

You get what you paid for; the women’s dorm smells like feet as it’s not ventilated well and is quite small. I think it’s from the slippers they provided. Socialization is non-existent for the women.

I love this little hostel. Super cozy, clean, great location — unbelievably close to multiple kombini, eatery, bus and metro stations, and several Anytime Fitness gyms.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 days in January this year, I really enjoyed my stay and I recommend it. The hotel is clean, the rooms are cleaned daily, they aren't big but have everything you need.

We stayed 4 nights here last Nov 9-12. Our room is 2 single bed in a double deck. Toilet and shower are inside our room so it’s very convenient.

Visited this hotel in the month of October.
This room is best suited for traveller with less luggage. Rooms are suited for 2 people.
