Good location, clean amenities and wonderful staff. The bed were bigger than I expected and comfortable.
The nearest metro station (Tameike-sannō Staation) is just 300m away.

I stayed at Nui for one week and it is an amzing hostel. Very clean, and tidy, beds were comfortable and the showers were also very nice. Staff was helpful and accommodating.

Amazing service, also the view is great, people is friendly and the hotel is located in a good spot to travel different places of Tokyo city! Really had a good time there.

I liked it here. I was here only for 2 nights in the women’s room. It was very nice, quiet and clean.
It’s near the train station, Senso-Ji Temple (walking distance) etc. I highly recommend!

We loved our stay here. Out of all of the hotels in Japan that we stayed at, this place had the most welcoming staff. They were very kind and also were constantly working to clean or help guests.

Fantastic little hotel. Welcoming, friendly, attentive staff. Clean, well-appointed rooms with comfy beds. Location is great — walking distance to Nippori, which is a good hub station.

We stayed only one night and thought it was an excellent experience for a hostel. We were pleasantly surprised by how much space we had to store our things, and overall, the stay was good.

Friendly staff, clean common areas and a fairly good location, even if you're not in the centre.
There are only two showers for women and two showers for men in the entire hostel.

Great value. The co-working space is great even though they play the same playlist over and over hahahah. The room I find a little bit too small, especially the lockers.

Very clean. You must shower and use the restrooms before or after their daily cleaning (something like 11 am — 3 pm).

Like many other hostel in Tokyo, the place is small. Probably the smallest hostel I’ve ever stayed and also in Tokyo but its oddly very clean and comfortable.

We were lucky enough to get the larger room with two queens. It was by far the biggest place we had in Japan in an awesome area. The sauna and cold plunge were amazing to help with jet lag.

Its a great place to stay, saunaland is not a hotel, more like a sauna place but they have some rooms to stay. We stayed in for our last night in Tokyo.

This Hotel is amazing! It is located in a cozy area of asakusa, and a brisk 5 minute walk away from the bustling center of the area.

The kitchen space is great.

The staff was very friendly, they even helped me ship my suitcase to the next hotel after their work hours.

Very friendly welcoming hosts that do speak english, and japanese. Place is clean, and nice.

I had the most gorgeous stay at Shinagawa Guesthouse. The beautiful employees made me feel so welcome and provided waffles (100yen) and coffee.

You get what you paid for; the women’s dorm smells like feet as it’s not ventilated well and is quite small. I think it’s from the slippers they provided. Socialization is non-existent for the women.

I love this little hostel. Super cozy, clean, great location — unbelievably close to multiple kombini, eatery, bus and metro stations, and several Anytime Fitness gyms.

Perfect capsule-hotel style hostel room. There was a bit of train noise, but aside from that it was a lovely and affordable stay. The staff was warm and engaging.

I've stayed at a hostel before but this hostel was on another level. The rooms, hallways, everything was so clean. And the bed was so comfortable.

My family of 3 stayed here for 2 nights, good value hotel. The tatami/futton bed are quite comfortable and room have good heating during the cold nights. Necessities are all provided.

This place is very good if you want something cheap and well located in Ikebukuro.
The common areas are very clean and the staff are very kind.

Sachiko and her husband were the best! This is a renovated traditional Japanese building. It’s well-maintained, clean and comfy.

The owner welcomed us with great kindness and warmth. Sheena & Ippei reflects that kindness, and you immediately feel comfortable and at home!

The building and rooms are modern yet cozy, spacious, clean and offer everything you need for a comfy stay.

Great place to stay! The dorm rooms are quite spacious n comfortable even for large luggage… the staff were very kind. Loved the idea of a Fitbit kind wearable room key.

Customer service was thoughtful and excellent. English was decent. I ended up booking twice because flights were cheaper if we stayed another day and I accidentally didn't book a family room.

The rooms were very clean. Location is ideal.
The service was fantastic and staff member Taro in particular has gone out of his way three times and shown fantastic customer service.

Private rooms is super cool, with good view on the river. Rooms is big, not only for Japan, at least for this price.
If you are runner there is running near the river.
