Where do I start?
I wanted to spend a week there, end up spending my wjole month there.
I had such a great time.
The rooms, toilets, showers are always super clean.
The staff is amazing!

Really excellent. Has character. Thoughtfully appointed. Clean. Convenient. Super good staff. Very delicious latte (serious coffee! ) and breakfast. Cool industrial furniture.

We loved the place and the location. If you want a truly Japanese experience with the basics, stay there. I would stay there again.

​The location is simply the best for exploring Asakusa.

Stay for around 10 days for winter. First impression is the reception and lobby area is not fragrant and feel not comfort.

Staff is very nice and explain the rules and facility in details during check in. 5 minutes walk from subway station.
Capsule room and shared washroom are clean which are highly appreciated.

Good：location, easy access in and out, friendly landlord, bed is clean, cheap for its location.
Bad: bathroom has stains and maybe mold? Tight space, bathroom shared with 5 other people and 2 sinks.

Great location for both metro and train with many different lines in less than 10mins walk. The hostel facilities is basic but enough for what you need.

I stayed at Unplan Shinjuku and honestly, it's a place I can't wait to return to.
The common areas are fantastic.

Was nervous to stay in a hostel again as a 36 yo solo woman. Only the mixed dorm was available.
Shower room and bathroom was pretty clean.

I stayed here for 3 weeks and it was truly a home away from home. Nana-San and Yuta-San have created a space that is welcoming, warm, and exceptional.

So amazing if you want to see a quieter, more homely side of tokyo!

Friendly staff, nice lobby and lots of freebies. Just that the rooms are not really soundproof so there are hourly restrictions on activity.

Incredibly clean and reasonably priced hostel, well located for buses and trains into the city centre and to/from the airport. Staff were friendly, helpful and kind.

Great little place, very close to the temple and art gallery. Rooms were nice and private, even if the mattress was pretty hard. The station wasn't too far, and the staff were lovely!

A value proposition for those travelling to Tokyo on a budget. Located in the less fashionable area of Tokyo, Minami-Senju, though very close to Tokyo Sky-Tree.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Note that it is not a hotel in the sense you get your own room or bathroom. It is more like a dormitory, where you get your own private room but share the bathroom.

Had a pretty good experience with this hostel. Rooms were a little small but didn't cause any issue.

We had a nice stay at plat hostel minowa forest. The rooms are basics, but clean and comfortable. The shared bathrooms are also cleaned often. For breakfast they provide breadrolls and soup.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The price is very reasonable and it comes with breakfast. Breakfast is just toast, coffee and soup but its a good start to the day.

This is my second time to stay in a Sakura Hotel in Tokyo, but first time here in Ikebukuro branch. Still did not disappoint.

I felt very Comfortable. The Staff were Amazing, very friendly and easy to talk to. It's also a great place to get to know other people from all around the World.

The hospitality on this place is amazing with great sense of care from the staff. Easily accessible within 10 minutes of walking from JR and Subway station with is another plus.

It was really cute place and it was clean. The owner is so nice and helpful person. He was even providing cereal, bread, butter, milk and that kinda food that you can freely eat.

Really great hostel and host. Went to the female-only dormitory. I had more than enough space in the bed to put all of my stuff and the amenities were very convenient.

Great value for small budget and room is big enough for 1 person. I loved that they have a sink and fridge in the room. Shared bathrooms were always clean & enough for the whole floor.

It was very good value. It is private room for everyone with shared bathrooms which are very clean all the time. The toiletries are all organic. Location is great.

Super close to Haneda, very short walk to the station. Lots of shops around for food or convenience stores. The owner is super friendly, and so are the staff. Highly recommend staying here.

What a wonderful experience. If you don’t mind sleeping in bunk bed in a group room, then you’ll love this place. Common area was very welcoming with friendly guests from across Japan and the world.

Pros: amazing hostel! well located, quiet, close to lots of touristic sites, the staff is super nice, the facilities are great. The beds and space for each person is great.

One of the cleanest hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Rooms were nicely conditioned, offered plenty of space for luggage, workers greeted every time you passed, rooms were cleaned daily and all surfaces

Stayed 7 nights. The location is very good and the beds are really big. A towel was included and the staff was very nice.
The closest Lawson is very cheap and it has discounts regularly after 19:00.

As a hostel veteran, this one is really nice and cozy!

I have been in the dorms so I didn't came with alot of expectations.
The stuff are super friendly and nice and the place is really really clean.
But I have 3 problems they the 4 starts.

I had a really great stay at UNPLAN Kagurazaka.
I’m not sure if it’s just a Japan thing or the kind of travelers this place attracts, but the atmosphere was incredibly quiet.

Lucky Hostel was great! Easy to explore Shinjuku from there. The staff made check-in and check-out simple. The private room was cozy with a comfy bed and good air conditioning.

My favorite hostel ever. This place instantly felt so much like home. Such a great location in koenji, walking distance to the train and a bunch of cute vintage shops.

Incredible location and a very lovely and comfortable hostel. The facilities and very convenient and well maintained and I slept amazing in the larger than average sized bed.
