SPA Hotels in Tokyo Prefecture

This is honestly one of the most comfortable hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan!
It’s not a luxury hotel, and there’s no fancy lobby, just a very simple reception area.

My family and I stayed here for a week and it was such a comfortable stay. The staff spoke English fluently (i think they spoke other lanaguages as well) and made us feel welcomed and comfortable.

It's pretty nice considering we really only sleep there. The onsen bath was really nice and hot. In fact hottest I have ever experienced. Very convenient location. Nice and clean and straight forward.

Booking two twin rooms for four nights in this hotel.
As the hotel explain there is only one twin room in on level, we had to be different level.

This is a great little hotel near station. Nicely decorated for a 3 star, unique vibes, front desk excellent, warm, cosy and clean rooms. Has excellent laundry facilities.

What a wonderful experience. The location from the nearest station Ikebukuro station is less than 10 mins walk.

Tucked away behind the station convenient close good low key hotel. Clean rooms courteous staff. Perhaps ask for room facing away from the station tracks if you want a less noisy stay.

Koji, the manager, was the kindest guy and made my experience very pleasant. I stayed here with my boyfriend and 2 friends. He always greeted me everytime I came through the lobby.

Stayed at Almont hotel Nippori for 5 nights and has a great experience.

Hotel's cost and location are great value.

I had a great stay at Tokyu Stay. The location was very convenient, with easy access to the subway and plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

Had a wonderful stay at Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro! The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. It’s conveniently located near the train station, making it super easy to get around Tokyo.

The hotel rooms are very comfortable and well maintained, and the service throughout the stay was excellent.

Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel is really a top-notch hotel. It is clean, the staff were very helpful and polite. The location is just at the fringe of Shibuya shopping area, super convenient!

Outstanding hotel. Even though the room was very small, it was very clean, and comfortable, making for a great stay overall.

I had an amazing experience at the Lyf Shibuya Tokyo Hotel. As an American traveler, it truly felt like a home away from home feel.

Stayed here 2 separate times in February. It was my first time in Japan and this hotel was truly awesome.

First of all, location is amazing! It's located within 2 minutes walk from the station of major JR line (Yamanote line) and within 10 minutes walk from Sunshine city.

Had an excellent 8 night stay in october. Everything was clean and we were never bothered. Self check in was a bit slow but worked.

Stayed here for a week and really loved it! The location is super convenient — less than 1 km from Hatsudai Station, so it’s super easy to get around Tokyo.

The location is great if you do not need to be in Shinjuku, Shibuya or Ginza. Easy access from the airport and a short walk to JR station and 3 subway lines.

We had a wonderful stay at Dormy Inn Ueno.

Had a great 4-day stay at Hotel New Tohoku. The room felt spacious enough, super neat and clean. It was a fuss-free check-in and check-out.

Conveniently located about 5 minutes from the Ueno station. Its an affordable hotel which has all the essentials. Staff are friendly and to my surprise they had a Filipina working there.

The biggest plus point was the location of the hotel — smack right in the middle of the food alleys of Ueno.

I have stayed at 27 different hotels in Tokyo from luxe hotels to simple inns and even saunas, and 83 total accommodations all over Japan.

Terrific stay with our family! The 10th floor suite has terrific views from two sides & a large bathroom with a full sized tub. Very kid friendly!

Centurion Hotel Ueno 🏨✨
Centurion Hotel Ueno is an exceptionally convenient base for exploring Tokyo, located just a 3-minute walk from the North Gate of JR Okachimachi Station.

This hotel offers a luxurious experience at a very reasonable price.
The rooms are exceptionally spacious and feel brand new, with a clean and modern design.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Housekeeping and the cleaning staff are phenomenal. Rooms were consistently spotless, and the cleaning crew truly stood out during my stay.

Second time here, booked a twin room this time, was more spacious and nicer than the first time when I booked a single room.

This hotel shocked me. The room was very clean and very spacious and I also had an amazing view of the city.

Really beautiful and quiet Neighbourhood. It is close to a subway station so it is still very accessible. The rooms are spacious considering Japanese hotels.

BELLUSTAR TOKYO is a stylish luxury hotel with impressive view over Tokyo.

Amazing stay for one week. Service impeccable. 10 out of 10. Location near Shinjuku station 10 min walk was perfect and central to all metro and JP lines.

This review is just for the Fontaine Lounge where we enjoyed an absolutely lovely Valentine's Day tea. All the savories and sweets were delicious, creative, and whimsical.

I cannot say enough about this hotel. The rooms are quite spacious by Tokyo standards with a full closet and chest of drawers so that you can unpack.

The tatami concept of the hotel is very homely. We booked the triple room and it was spacious in Tokyo’s context. The only con is that there’s not much view from the room, but its acceptable.

I booked this hotel through Ikyu because I wanted a room larger than 25 square meters.

We stayed 6 nights over two stays as Accor Gold members and couldn’t be happier.

I got wonderful experience since I entered the hotel. The gentleman helped a lot with my check-in and led me to the elevator. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Great location, lovely rooms and very friendly service. From the pick up at the airport to being taken to Tokyo Station the staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

We had a great stay at Aoyama Grand Hotel. Before our arrival, we realised we wanted to switch to a different room type and the staff were quick to reply and did their best to accommodate our request.

We had a lovely stay here. Location is excellent as it's across the street from Tokyo Station. The room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping was great.

Luxury in Service.
I stayed here many years ago & returned to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Shangri-La never disappoints. They have spacious room, offer excellent service & great food.
