Cheap hotels in Tokyo Prefecture

Clean space, friendly host. Quiet neighbourhood.
Futon and pillows were too flat making for uncomfortable sleep. Bathroom limited space for items to change.

Perfect hostel. Very wholesome vibes and feels like you’re in a Japanese families house.
Nothing, everything was excellent.

I stayed here for 3 weeks and it was truly a home away from home. Nana-San and Yuta-San have created a space that is welcoming, warm, and exceptional.

So amazing if you want to see a quieter, more homely side of tokyo!

It’s been such a great time, I wish I’d booked it again for my return to Tokyo (for a return flight)!
PROS.

Can highly recommend! Everything was clean and well maintained. Host was super nice:) definitely I will comeback in future.

Stayed here for 6 nights with a friend.

Staff are very friendly. A few speak some English, but Google translate works great. The rooms are small, but very clean. The bed is comfortable and black out curtains makes the room dark for sleep.

Great little place, very close to the temple and art gallery. Rooms were nice and private, even if the mattress was pretty hard. The station wasn't too far, and the staff were lovely!

Amazing owner! So kind and insightful. I’ll definitely be back and tell my friends.
Thank you so much!

My favorite hostel ever. This place instantly felt so much like home. Such a great location in koenji, walking distance to the train and a bunch of cute vintage shops.

Incredible location and a very lovely and comfortable hostel. The facilities and very convenient and well maintained and I slept amazing in the larger than average sized bed.

Really good price. The facilities are nice compared to the cost. On booking some reviews said the blankets were short and the room was cold.

You get what you paid for; the women’s dorm smells like feet as it’s not ventilated well and is quite small. I think it’s from the slippers they provided. Socialization is non-existent for the women.

It was really cute place and it was clean. The owner is so nice and helpful person. He was even providing cereal, bread, butter, milk and that kinda food that you can freely eat.

Really great hostel and host. Went to the female-only dormitory. I had more than enough space in the bed to put all of my stuff and the amenities were very convenient.

If only I could give more than 10 I would. This place feels like home.
First of all, the hosts are amazing and so very welcoming. The place is super clean, cozy. The location is very good.

The best hosts I could have asked for, and the place is really well equipped and at a very nice location!

Our favorite spot to stay for long stays in Tokyo. Daiso and Seiyu are all you need to be comfortable.

I was staying in Ohana Tokyo House during 2.4-21.4 and I enjoyed my stay there a lot.

Super close to Haneda, very short walk to the station. Lots of shops around for food or convenience stores. The owner is super friendly, and so are the staff. Highly recommend staying here.

What a wonderful experience. If you don’t mind sleeping in bunk bed in a group room, then you’ll love this place. Common area was very welcoming with friendly guests from across Japan and the world.

I had a great experience staying at this hotel in Japan. The place was very clean, modern, and well organized, with a comfortable bed, good lighting, and convenient charging ports.

Stay for around 10 days for winter. First impression is the reception and lobby area is not fragrant and feel not comfort.

Staff here are the best; special thanks to Kira for helping us solve a problem🙏. Good facilities, rooms are a little small, but to be expected at this price point in Tokyo.

Super friendly staff and really cozy! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Much larger than I expected! I stayed with just myself and a friend and there was plenty of space.

Considering this is a hostel, it’s a very nice and clean place. I left my stuff there the whole trip and had no issues.

This is probably the cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed at. It’s just a few minutes from the train station, yet located in a quiet area close to the main attractions in Asakusa.

ART is wonderful! Excellent accommodations, down to earth vibes, super clean and comfortable. Absolutely perfect location for exploring Asakusa.

We loved the place and the location. If you want a truly Japanese experience with the basics, stay there. I would stay there again.

I love this place. The staff and the people staying there are so kind. Everything is clean and cleaned daily, and theres no unpleasant odors.

Stayed here for our last 3 days in Tokyo. The hotel is about a 17-minute walk from Minami-Senju Station and close to several konbini (7-Eleven, Lawson, Shimadaya).

Its an excellent stay for rhe price. The location is amazing. The rooms are good. My only problem is that they should be more active when it comes to service. Room cleaning for example.

Had a pretty good experience with this hostel. Rooms were a little small but didn't cause any issue.

Location and place was great to relax and stay inn! However I left my apple airpods. I would appreciate if you can confirm with me if you have found it on room 209.

The location was excellent and the staff were super friendly. It’s very close by the Yamanote & Mita lines which can get you to all of the major areas in Tokyo.

I’ve had a great time here and keep coming back. The staff are so friendly and always there to help, even late into the night!

Had been there three times! Really clean and nice hostel and the price is awesome. 3 minutes walk from the Asakusabashi (station number "A16"! ) station and you got both JR and Toei Subway access.

Good：location, easy access in and out, friendly landlord, bed is clean, cheap for its location.
Bad: bathroom has stains and maybe mold? Tight space, bathroom shared with 5 other people and 2 sinks.

Great location for both metro and train with many different lines in less than 10mins walk. The hostel facilities is basic but enough for what you need.

It's a few shared bungalows in a remote area of Chichi-Jima island, and you're in the middle of nature. For me what really made the stay fantastic was the staff and other guests.

Nice little accommodation in Tokyo. The rooms are basic, but is clean and you have everything you need and staff are really attentive. The area is quiet and well communicated. Definitely recommended!

Stayed 7 nights. The location is very good and the beds are really big. A towel was included and the staff was very nice.
The closest Lawson is very cheap and it has discounts regularly after 19:00.
