A self serve hotel is something I've never seen done. Our place could have slept an army. It was clean, large, near trains, shopping and more. — an American.

Quiet neighborhood near station. Perfect place to just sleep from a day of exploration!

Kuramae is a very quiet area and the hotel is just next to the station so it's quite convenient.

The stay at COCTS was truly wonderful. Everyday the staff would greet you and be more than happy to help with any concerns or needs. They were all very kind and joyful which made the stay even better!

It's very convenient, close to train stations and quiet at night. There is an only women bathroom and toilet/shower rooms are clean. I'd like to use Cocts again!

The biggest plus point was the location of the hotel — smack right in the middle of the food alleys of Ueno.

I have stayed at 27 different hotels in Tokyo from luxe hotels to simple inns and even saunas, and 83 total accommodations all over Japan.

Very nice! We would stay again if a non-smoking room is available. Friendly staff, good service, LOTS of free amenities, and the large room was a nice change from the tiny rooms in cheaper hotels.

What I liked.
• The apartment was spacious enough for two people, with plenty of room for luggage, clothes, and a table for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
• Very clean and comfortable overall.

We have stayed here twice although it was different rooms. Check-in and check-out were easy. Great location and there are lots of places to eat in the neighborhood.

Location 7/10 but close enough to the metro station, staff N/A (we did not interract), no breakfast, large clean room, kitchen, Wi-Fi, confortable beds, quiet street, balcony!.

It was actually a great place to stay. They seem to have resolved all the issues other reviewers are mentioned. Located in a peaceful area but close to transportation.

Pros:
— The room was really big.
— Japanese experience with tatami and Futons.
— Clean.
— Good price for the location.
— Noisy microwave in the corridor.
Cons:
— The staff wasn't very welcoming.

Stayed here for 4 days during our stay in tokyo. Location is superb, a few mins walk to okachimachi station and is close by to convenience stores and a few attractions.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little gem in Shinjuku. It offers an impressive range of services and amenities that are hard to match. I would definitely visit again in the future.

This is an excellent Bali theme resort in Tokyo. Rooms are quiet spacious, beautiful interior. So many free amenities like hot bath, message chair. The reception staffs are very helpful.

We had a fantastic 1 night stay at the mecure. I was able to get a last minute deal for a great price, and was still offered an upgrade with my accor membership.

Before booking, I want to give travelers a heads-up about staying in Nagano. Compared to Tokyo, Nagano is much more rural.

Location is great, but room is really small but cant expect much for the price I was paying. Just a normal double bed, microwave small fridge and even kettle.

I stayed here for 1 night. 5 Minutes walk from JR. A simple guest-house breakfast was offered. Reasonable price. Didn't expect too much.

My partner and I were in this Inn a year ago more or less and we stayed for two or three nights.

Words cannot express how amazing my 7 Rooms Hotel & Cafe stay was. Upon arrival, you are greeted with the smell of fresh flowers, the soft clink of china, and smiling faces from the welcoming staff.

A delightful boutique hotel with a florist/cafe at the front.

My wife and I had a great stay. We checked out today. Overall we use hotels as only a resting point when traveling.
Room was very clean. Bathroom was very clean. Bed was comfortable.

Clean room, not as spacious but enough for a couple of days. Comfy but small double bed. Don't bring too much luggage though. Comes with a coin laundry which is a plus.

This place was conveniently located near subway station (about 8 mins walk).

The location cannot be beat. It is very near the subway entrance.
However, I found the cleanliness to be a bit lacking.
The bunk bed frames were extremely dusty/dirty (between the mattresses).

Excellent stay at the Minn. Convenient location with grocery store literally across the road and several stations only 5-10 min walk away.

We had 2 adults and 2 kids. Spacious and everything we needed was there. Place was clean and tidy, and quite updated.

We chose to stay at the Conrad Tokyo because of its convenient location near local attractions, transportation options, restaurants, and shopping.

Only reserve the harbor/water view. It is simply amazing. Plus you look into a park right in front of the hotel. The rooms are very big with incredibly high ceilings.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The view of the Sky Tree was absolutely amazing and made the experience even more special.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Hotel Tomos. From the second we arrived, the staff were beyond incredible, so kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay amazing.

WOW! Fantastic traditional Japanese ryokan hotel. I didn't want to leave!

Receptionist was so welcoming, room was nice and cozy with hot water already ready when we arrived! Quiet area (far away enough from the market). Will come again!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, in particular the tea house inspired aesthetic. The taxi driver didn't know where it was, so it is probably fairly new.

The 1899 Hotel is beautifully designed, with a calm, refined atmosphere throughout, and we were very glad we chose to stay here twice on our recent trip.

We enjoyed our stay in Give Shibuya Hotel. It is a nice walk from the hotel to the train station, seeing all the shops along the way.

Absolutely perfect apartment and an excellent stay from start to finish. The apartment was spotless, modern, stylish, and very comfortable.
