Truly a fabulous place to stay in Jaipur. The Samode Haveli is beautiful, our room was well appointed and the campus is absolutely stunning. Good food, including the complimentary breakfast, as well as dinners in the hotel restaurant. What truly set this hotel apart was the staff, who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We left Jaipur on a red-eye flight and were graciously permitted to spend the afternoon in the hotel’s public spaces. Concierge and reservations staff were just as kind and attentive after we checked out as while we were their paying guests. For this reason, I absolutely recommend this hotel—it is lovely and well located, with the best service I’ve experienced anywhere in India!

It is one of the finest restaurants and the food taste is amazing and service quality is really good.

Built over 175 years ago within the city of Jaipur as the royal family manor, Samode Haveli reflects the style and elegance of the royals. A special feature of the Haveli is the elephant ramp. It offers an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre. Fitted with antique couches, rich mosaic and painted arches, the air-conditioned rooms come with a flat-screen cable TV. The private bathroom comes with a bathtub, shower and hairdryer. At Samode Haveli you will find spa bath and fitness centre. Guests can enjoy puppet show, Rajasthani music and dance performance in the evening. Other facilities offered include a tour desk, luggage storage, currency exchange and a business centre. The property houses a restaurant that is decorated with colourful hand-painted murals and serves local and international cuisines.

If you’re a fan on quaint hotels like me, this is ideal. Quiet and away from the endless sounds of life that is India. The rooms are beautiful and full of charm. The courtyard has live music in the evenings which provides a wonderful atmosphere for your pre dinner drink. The pool is also beautiful. The website pics don’t do this place justice. Well worth the stay.

This hotel is the most historical and heritage. Place. All luxuries treatment provide here. All facilities like parking, reastorents and much more… Best luxury accommodation are available here… Very nice.

Very nice and romantic stay in this old palace hotel. Room are beautiful and swimming is fantastic. People is very friendly and kind. The internal shop has very good pashmina and you have to bargain. Restaurant of the hotel is nice and breakfast is served in a very nice lounge.

Very difficult to reach. Food is okay, ambience is good but not worth the effort required to reach here.

Grandeur, Royal, Magnificent, Luxurious are the words which Highlights the property. The experience was edmirable and astonishing. On Entering the gate a polite escort welcomes you to the grand hotel and lead you to Darbar Hall decorated with beautifull and delicate Mural paintings and designs which will take you back to the reign of kings. The Hotel boast its beauty  by showing off it's beautifull gardens, flowers, Architecture, Fountains all over the place which are the key features of peacefull environment and fresh air. From Floors, Pillars, Gates, Windows to curtains Fountains, Chairs and gardens each and everthing is edmirably preserved keeping its original classic tinch. Moving to the fine dinning hall with shiny cutlery, and spotless covers are arranged very gracefully. The Royal Red velvet curtains and Thick Designer old carpets make the Dining hall adorable and sparkling chandeliers in dim light makes it charmingly delightful and the live mellow music from local musicians chanting harmonic songs, made the evening more melodious. Moving forward, very gracefully The Steward serves water and presents the Menu. The menu mainly present the royal local dishes, from which I ordered sheekh kebab In starters which were perfectly grilled with blend of  local seasoning and spices making it a mouth watering taste.

We only went for dinner so this only reflects the food and restaurant area. The restaurant itself is set in a fantastic Haveli that makes a beautiful place to dine. The food however was very overrated. The mutton chops were the best item we tried which were truly tasty but everything else was very underwhelming, especially for 7500INR for two!

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Beautiful rooms and equally great setting. Kitchen was very good and the service incredibly accommodating. It was the best out 9 hotels we stayed in during a 2 week trip in India. Highly recommended.

I spent a night in this hotel in Jaipur and the unit I had consisted of a dining room, living room, bedroom, a walk-in closet that adjoins the bathroom which itself has a shower and a bath tub. It was like renting an entire apartment that had luxurious furnishings that reflect Indian culture. They have a pool, souvenir store, pool side bar, restaurant, gym and spa. It somewhat gives the guest a taste of what it feels like to be royalty in Jaipur.

This is royal and rich and quite peaceful place for rich people. Food here is of high quality. Awesome teast.

Old palace with modern conveniences. Excellent service. Excellent staff. Humongous size rooms with all modern facilities. Excellent restaurant. Expensive place but worth the money. Quite a long way to walk to some rooms, NOT disabled — friendly. No lift, no ramps. Close to attractions.

A Haveli with family history! This is not just a place to stay but an experience as a whole. Service is very good, location is perfect and has alot of places to find your own space to relax around the Haveli.

Excellent hotel, good location not to far from city centre as traffic can be a nightmare. Staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Lovely breakfast in the morning, and great pool area and bar.

Nice oversized rooms. A bit of a problem for elderly since there are a few stairs on the sprawled property. As mentioned by another reviewer Wi-Fi is spotty and you have to keep constantly logging in. Restaurant is great with tasty food and very attentive staff.

Very nice place from inside. Though approach is not the best but once you reach there it is a superb place. It has got all the things you want ranging from site seeing arrangements to quality service.

Far surpassed our expectations The location in the old city is a few steps from the noisy chaos of Jaipur but inside is a big beautiful oasis of calm and exquisite service. Gauri will see to all your sightseeing arrangements and the staff will be there to make sure everything is as you wish. Our suite was spaciousness modern with the charm of old India.

Enjoying a martini inside of their pool is priceless. The hotel in general is pretty good, and the food, if you don't want Indian goods, is one of the best choices. The service is also nice.

Straight out of Best Marigold Hotel, lots of gin swigging Poms, French, and German guests. Eccentric but very gracious, excellent rooms and polished service. Decor worth photgraphing, big elegant but cold pool. Difficult neighbourhood and no need for an alarm. Mosques all around. Food very good and well priced, as is alcohol. A great experience! November 2013.
