Beautiful villa resort with views of Borobudur. Very attentive staff. Spa and massages were well received by all. Food was delicious without pretense. Chef was engaging with each table side visit.

Beautiful hotel and resort with animals such as peacocks, restaurants overlooking amazing views of the temple, rooftop bar, and great friendly staff. Old antique trucks and cars on property.

There's a carnaval at there, sadly just 2 machine with good condition. 3 others at maintenance. And the staff said the management always forgot to repair the other machines.

Our stay at Janur Bungalow was amazing. The place is very well taken care of, from the beautiful plants to the clean swimming pool area. The breakfast they serve is also very good.

The resort is close to Borobudur temple. It takes around 15 mins ride to there, so if you’re planning to see the sunrise there, it’s a very good choice.

A beautiful place to stay near Borobudur temple. Calm place with relaxing view of rice fields and Merapi mount when the sky is clear. A refreshing pool. They can cook you dinner or lunch by order.

Paid 550k/night + breakfast on a long weekend through traveloka, not too bad. The hotel is simple, but cozy. The room is spacious and clean.

We had an excellent experience staying at Rumah Dharma. It’s about 25 mins walking distance from the entrance of Borobudur Temple. Very attentive staff and grounds and room are cozy and clean.

We had a wonderful time at the Amrta Borobudur. The hotel is charming and the staff was kind. They were very accommodating of a vegetarian diet.

The rooms are quite new in the main building, some inconvenience like drain issues are resolved quickly. Breakfast was limited but delicious.

Room is nice and clean. The breakfast is too salty and its ala carte, so not buffet like hotel as usual. Understandable cause it might be low season plus capacity for the hotel is not that much.

Great for healing and relaxing. If you want to get away from the hectic days, this hotel is perfect for you. Food in the restaurant tastes good especially the traditional ones.

I stayed here for one night. The price is affordable and the location is very strategic—just a short walk to the sunrise spot.

Better than our expectation. Totally suit our family kinda holiday. Slowing down, books, best scenery, superb service by the staff… orthopedic bed and extra bed.

Sinom Borobudur is nicely located near Borobudur temple. The rooms are clean, bed is comfortable, and the shower was great. We also really enjoyed the pool.

Stay 1 night to catch sunrise or Borobudur trip. Hotel located like 3 minutes walking to Borobudur ticket locket. Hotel located on the main road. Old vibes but super clean.

The location is great, quite close to Borobudur Temple, lots of food options nearby (Semolina Pizza was delicious). The staff were nice and helpful.

Had a blast staying at Shankara. This time I stayed for a cycling event in Borobudur. Been there multiple times since 8 years ago, the quality of service & cleanness are just equally good.

The small plunge pool makes a big difference after a bike ride in hot weather. We liked the restaurant, special mention for Wawat who is very smart and friendly and delivers good service.

We only stayed for one night after a tour of Borobudur and wish we stayed longer. The 2-Bedroom Villa was perfect for my travel friend and I to have seperate spaces but would suit a family.

Peaceful place, lovely staff, good food. Stayed four nights to visit Borobudur temple which is 2km or so walking distance away. Basic and rustic, peaceful and quiet, good local food and lovely staff.

There are good and bad things that come with a hotel being more rustic and located in the countryside on the edge of a rice field.
