Reviews of The Setumbu Experience ARTOTEL Curated 4*
The hotel was comfy, clean, and serene. The location is close to some tourist attractions, like The Borobudur Temple. You also have a view to the other side of the valley, of the mountains. However, you are required to drive through small settlement roads to get here. The parking area was spacious, but a bit sketchy because it's on a slope.
The staffs were quite friendly and welcoming. The services were also okay.
The room was air-conditioned. You have direct access from the room to the swimming pool and communal area. Too bad that the pool was under maintenance when we visited. The communal area was warm and comfy. There were chairs and tables for hanging out and eating. On the second floor of the main building, the vibe was homey too.
It's a great place to stay if you plan on having a vacation around Borobudur-Magelang-Yogyakarta. I would recommend to spend some time to explore around the area to make your visit worth it.
Came during weekdays yet everything were just spot on. The services were beyond my expectations, the staff were friendly and accommodating, the pool was perfect, both the water temperature and the beautiful view. The personal breakfast was satisfying, and really nothing beats sleeping with the sound of nature. Recommended stay and I will definitely coming back.

Better than our expectation. Totally suit our family kinda holiday. Slowing down, books, best scenery, superb service by the staff… orthopedic bed and extra bed.
