Cheap Hotels in Borobudur

Beautiful forest-alike garden. Very relaxing. It would be perfect if bigger rooms are available (such as a joglo use as a suite).
The pisang-goreng poured with gula-merah/aren is a must to try.

Very tranquil & serene place where we can rest & unwind from the hustle bustle. Easy to access, the foods are amazing (especially morning tiwul).

The service was great. I booked an economy room (without air conditioning), but they said they would upgrade me to an economy room with air conditioning.

The welcome was very friendly and staff was kind all around. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous. The room was clean and we had a nice little balcony. All in all, a very good experience.

Had a nice 2 nights stay at this guesthouse. Located only 5 minutes away from the iconic Borobudur, it helps us to reach Borobudur in the morning with no rush.

Perfect place to stay for Borobodur visit. Super friendly and professional staff. Great food. Beautiful self contained bungalows, well designed and decorated. Very clean.

Very aesthetically laid out restaurant and dining area. The food was very good, however, it was undoubtedly the ambience that stole the lime light. Definitely recommended for a visit.

Friendly and accommodating staff, close to borobudur temple, good location with regards to food options and accessibility to daily requirements, lovely breakfast, clean and well maintained grounds.

We had a wonderful time at the Amrta Borobudur. The hotel is charming and the staff was kind. They were very accommodating of a vegetarian diet.

The rooms are quite new in the main building, some inconvenience like drain issues are resolved quickly. Breakfast was limited but delicious.

This guest house is underrated in my opinion. The service is brilliant and the people here are friendly, welcoming and genuine.

Such a wondeful stay at Lotus II, the staff was just the nicest you can find, the inside of the hotel is beautiful with ricefields and a little pond with fish.

Location 1-2 km near Borobudur temple. Enter the residential area. Book at tiketcom. Cheap price 200-300 thousand. Fast response from admin.

Recommended budget friendly homestay in Magelang.

Very satisfying service. My child left his phone charger behind when we checked out, and the hotel staff contacted me to inform me so my child wouldn't lose it.

Paid 550k/night + breakfast on a long weekend through traveloka, not too bad. The hotel is simple, but cozy. The room is spacious and clean.

The people were very nice, the breakfast were amazing, the beds were incredible. The only problem was the air conditioning, it was making a lot of noise because the window wasn’t solid enough.

The hotel is in a good area in near to Borobodur which is a plus point but moreover staff are super nice and helpful. Whether it’s a small task or not.

My family and I did a road trip from Jakarta to Bali, and this place became our very first stop. We stayed here for one night and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.

I was traveling solo and felt totally safe here. The 24-hour front desk is a huge plus because I arrived way later than expected.

We arrived tired and sweaty, and the staff greeted us like family. It’s those little things, you know? Our room was cool and clean, and we had plenty of space to spread out.

Highly recommended! Stayed in a dorm room (which turned out to be private as no one else was staying)
Positives.

Great location (only 100m walk from temple entrance). Really new and clean rooms, with comfortable bed and curtain for privacy. Owner was really friendly and helpful.

A good glamping site, the view is really great and it's pretty cold at night especially with the AC on. There is two double beds that you can see as soon as you walk in and a single bed behind the

Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in a healing retreat, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the comforts of a nice accommodation.

Super hospitable, helpful and responsive counter. The location is quite good, with walking distance to Alfa market, Borobudur and Candi Pawon (you can also walk to Candi Mendut if you want.

Good location, only 200m to the gate on Borobudur temple, cafe and restaurant, alpha mart minimarket just arround the corner, convenience.

Not to far from Main Street. Recommend for solo traveler like me. The owner so friendly, he offers selection of drink when I arrived. The room always clean and they provide air cond as well.
