Amazing views, very Grab accessible, lovely staff. The owner pays special attention and we had home cooked breakfast. Even the drive to and from is worth it. Clear view of Borobudur Temple and the two volcanos — Merbabu and Merapi — looming behind.

Loving my stay here. The place is clean and quiet. The food tasted good. Hot shower works perfectly. Love it!

The key value-add of Borobudurhills is the availability of a private pool so definitely go for the Villa with Private Pool! Our private pool turned out slightly bigger than I had expected so I was pleasantly surprised. The entire outdoor area was really really nice with the large lounger perfect for a cuddle. We would have had a completely quiet and peaceful stay if not for the muslim prayers that were regularly broadcasted throughout the day, but that's beyond the management's control. Special thanks to the management as well for accommodating our date change directly even though this was not an option in our original booking with Booking. Com.
While our room had all the essentials, it could level up its aesthetics. This, plus the slightly off-grid location with no F&B options around (we ordered Grab food delivery) did feel like a slight mismatch with the price point of Boroburdurhills.

It was amazing, we could see the borobudur temple from our room. There’s also a private pool in each of the deluxe room. There’s also a big TV with youtube and netflix on the TV. The soap & shampoo smells soo good. The minus was that the bidet was so small its hard to clean up.

It is my second visit to this beautiful Property and I am always amazed and impressed with the personalised Service of the owner, Ibu Ririn and her amazing team. The Covid protocol was strictly in place that make us feel super safe upon arrival and during our entire stay. The room is huge with a super comfy bed and a Private pool overlooking directly the Borobudur temple. Amazing views especially during Sunrise. We have ordered lunch at a very reasonable price. The food was delicious and the portions were enormous. The mini bar is complimentary with a wide selection of snacks and drinks. We had an amazing night sleeping in the super comfy bed and watching the huge smart Television. In the morning we went for complimentary bike ride at the nearby Village and then had our superb floating breakfast by our Private pool. The friendly staff Ernie and her colleague, arranged a VW car tour of the nearby Village. I really can frankly say that this Property is a great value compared to other high end Resorts nearby at very high prices. I will rate the cleanliness, Services, facilities, staff 10 out of 10. I rarely give such a high rate. We will be definetely back and recommend it to everyone.

I booked a simple room for 2 nights and I was deeply disappointed after staying for 2 nights in Rumah Dharma in Borobudur. So I decided to make an upgrade for a Panorama Villa with private pool. And yes … it was worth to do that step.
Finally it was a nice stay there. Staff was very nice and very friendly … like all people I met on Java Island and they tried to do their best to help for all questions.
We had one dinner their and I missed to enjoy a glass of wine … or at least a beer with dinner.
The view from the Villa is very nice with an overview of the ricefields to the Borobudur Temple.
To me, the Villa with pool was a little bit overprized. But finally much better than the other rooms.
You need at least a motorbike, as the hotel is a little outside of Borobudur. But to discovery the surrounding it is anyway the best to have a car or motorbike.
We also booked a car to bring us to the airport at this hotel. And everything worked very well.

We booked Panorama Villa with private pool and direct view to Borobudur Temple for one night only. We really love the place, despite the access to the hotel quite difficult if you using public transport. The room is spacious with King Size bed and there is couch next to the Bed. It's very quite and you could easily fall asleep. Breakfast was not bad, this is ala-carte served breakfast that you need to order a day before. I spent the night with my family, but I would recommend this place for couples.
