I really liked the experiance to meet nice people you stand up and you Are asked if you woud like to have breakfest there werent any circumstances with the understanding.

This is a guest house not a hotel, so there might be lacks here and there if you expect this place as a hotel.
Stayed here with family and got the room on the ground floor facing the field. The room is big and clean but the bathroom couldn’t be closed properly without locking the door.
During our stay, there was a renovation on the room above ours so it was noisy during the day.
This place is verrrrry close to Borobudur, so it’s a good choice if you wish to visit Borobudur, just some meters away by foot. So many places to eat, there’s alfamart (brand of mini mart) nearby, making this place a good budget choice!
Please note that like most cities in Indonesia, there are mosques so expect prayer’s sounds even at dawn.

If you have no ticket for the Borobudur yet:
Go to the entrance 6:15 in the morning. They sell the climb the tempel tickets from 6:30. You have to be early to get the ticket.
Don’t forget to explore the surroundings with Nuri! He works in the guesthouse! Great experience!

Great staff. Good breakfast. Strong Wi-Fi. Nice lobby to wait. Nice back view on rice fields. However at the main road… so there is a lot of noise during night. Also rooms and bathrooms are bit… out of freshness, but super large. No A/C. No moskito net in window… nor glass. No toilet paper!

I absolutely loved my stay at Lotus 2! From the first moment I arrived I felt relaxed and very welcome. The staff, Nuri and Dan went above and beyond to look after me and give me a real local experience. It was particularly good for me as I am a solo backpacker.
The free breakfast was good, and the room good value for money with a lovely view of rice fields. Would recommend 🙂

Good place, strategically located, very near to Borobudur temple. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room and bed are very comfortable. Some things that could be improved would be the car parking lot and shower water pressure. Other than that this is a very decent guest house. Will stay here again for sure.

We were very pleasantly surprised but the charming and welcoming hosts in Lotus 2. They were very helpful in advice about what we should do in Borobudur and anything we asked. Very accommodating and friendly hosts, offering to help at any time.
Wonderful location with a five minute walk to the entrance to Borobudur temple (which is an absolute must-see). We were also able to rent motorbikes from the homestay.
Unfortunately, the room we stayed it wasn’t quite up to the standard of the others. We had a chance to see the other rooms which seems perfectly clean and lovely. However, our en-suite had a constant smell of wee and was infested with ants. The flush on the toilet was broken and the floor was very sticky. Our AC did not work and the door to the room was broken. However, the site ad a whole was very nice and we had breakfast on the balcony/terrace, and as I said, the other rooms did not have the same problem as ours. Therefore, I would definitely stay again and highly recommend any of the other rooms, but the one we stayed in needed attending too! When we entered, the host offered us to upgrade the room for a discounted price (which we declined as we did not know the problems with our rooms) this suggests that they did know about the problems and hopefully will fix them soon!
