Uhmmm. 1st time try to stay at luxury hotel. Very nice view, calming and quite athmosphere with great service and accomodation. Love it!

Unique hotel with beautiful view, traditional but also modern at the same time. Enjoy sunset drinking tea and snacks for free.

Stayed here for two nights with my family and truly enjoyed the experience. We loved the excellent food, especially the variety of local dishes and appreciated the tranquil ambience. The staff were exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. Thank you.

My husband brought me and my family to stay at Plataran Heritage Borobudur, and we had such a wonderful experience! The hotel has a classy and beautiful design, with a calm and elegant atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, always making us feel welcome.
There’s a free shuttle to Borobudur Temple, which was very convenient. Even though we were running late, the staff were so accommodating and still came to pick us up from the temple — really appreciated their kindness and professionalism.
Overall, it was an enjoyable and memorable stay. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

Love the atmosphere. Room is nice & clean. View from 3rd floor balcony is very nice. Staff very friendly & helpful. Some nice facilities for kids. Breakfast is nice & quite extensive. Afternoon tea also quite nice. Esthetic hotel, need to try it at least once. Advise: if you want a room with a balcony with a view, do not book a room in the 1st floor. 1st floor balcony's garden is poorly done imo. This is the only drawback of the facilities.
Ps. While we stay there, our neighbor was smoking in their balcony even though clearly stated no smoking allowed. Come on people, try to follow the rules.

It is as expected.
Road access is big enough, public area in and surrounding is very pleasant.
Room and bathroom is great.
People are also great, shout out for Willy and Naufal for superb communication and service.

A Truly Unforgettable Birthday Getaway at Plataran Heritage.
Plataran has always held a special place in our hearts — it’s been our go-to venue for life’s biggest milestones, from our wedding to celebration dinners and lunches. However, this was our very first time staying at Plataran’s hotel, and it completely exceeded all expectations.
From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff set the tone for a memorable stay. We were graciously welcomed by a lovely lady with short hair who assisted us with a smooth and friendly check-in. As this trip was part of my birthday celebration, I was genuinely touched to find a beautifully decorated bed awaiting me in our room — such a thoughtful surprise!
But the surprises didn’t end there. After spending the afternoon exploring the serene hotel grounds, we returned to find a delicious birthday cake waiting for me. That small gesture made my day feel incredibly special, and I was deeply moved by the attention and care shown by the team.
My son had the time of his life enjoying the hotel’s many facilities — from meeting the various animals to the fun amusement rides and lush green landscapes, there was so much to see and do. The natural beauty of the surroundings combined with the joy in my son’s eyes made our stay even more magical.
That said, we would also like to share a couple of suggestions in hopes of making future experiences even better.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a most excellent experience. Service was very good, the rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast was also great. A wonderful stay overall, and highly recommend.

Overall, it was a very good experience from checkin to check out.
The checkin and checkout process was easy, quick, and smooth. They told you right of the bat that pay at the outlets so they didn’t have to hold deposit on my card and no bill to be settled at the end. Great arrangement for my purpose which I didn’t require much of anything.
The room was spacious, clean, and enough space for massage or even yoga in the room if you wish. I love the bathtub option. A good way to soak after trekking. Everything you need in the room is provided. They give welcome snacks as well.
The afternoon tea at the rooftop was chill and the breakfast was good.

Wonderful trip to just relax and get away from it all. Was here for 3 days, 2 nights and feel like it wasn't enough.
The food was amazing with picturesque views, the room and bed was so comfortable, and the staff were all so incredibly kind and helpful!
Special mention for the spa, so fantastic we went all 3 days!
Also recommend going to their sunrise resto on top of a hill for the great views.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Plataran Heritage Yogyakarta, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hospitality and service provided by the staff were truly outstanding.
From the warm welcome at check-in to the restaurant staff, Mas Bimo, who helped us for breakfast. Outstandingyoung chap, every interaction with the staff was met with a smile and a willingness to assist. The rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable, but they were the people who truly made our stay special.
The entire team, from housekeeping to the front desk, were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met.
I would highly recommend Plataran Heritage Yogyakarta to anyone looking for an exceptional hotel experience with top-notch hospitality. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable! You guys are amazing. We will be back!

Quite possibly the best place I've ever stayed in my life.
Nothing was ever too much trouble the team were excellent in every aspect of their jobs you could really tell that everybody loves working there.
The food was outstanding service to match any five-star resort you've ever been to the location is stunning with views of the temple and deep into the jungle, butterflies and birds litter the air.
We will definitely be going back as we feel like we became part of the family.
We only booked for two nights but ended up staying three we would have stayed longer but our other plans got in the way.
Next time Plataran.

Room is very clean and feel hommy, all staff is very helpful and surrounding hotel is peaceful, and this hotel have mini zoo also.

Amazing Family Stay at Plataran Heritage Borobudur.
We had a wonderful stay at Plataran Heritage with my wife and our two children. We chose this hotel because my wife participated in the Borobudur Marathon, and it was the perfect choice! The location is ideal, close to Borobudur Temple and surrounded by peaceful nature. The view on the mountains from our room was absolutely stunning.
We stayed in a suite room, which was very spacious and had a beautiful bathroom with all the amenities we could need. After the race, my wife enjoyed an exceptional massage at the spa, which left her feeling completely refreshed. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request.
The rooms were elegant, and comfortable, and we also loved the breakfast, which offered a great variety of local and international options. This is the perfect place to relax with family while exploring the area.
We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning on our next visit to Borobudur!

I had an exceptional stay at Plataran Heritage Borobudur Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my visit was perfect. A very nice colonial style hotel about 10 minutes drive from Borobudur temple. Set on the outskirts of town and accessed via a beautiful sweeping driveway into gardened grounds with a small decorative "rice paddy" in front of the entrance.
We visited during low season so the staff to guest ratio was high. Staff very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
The most incredible breakfast spread with every nationality (and more) catered for. If your tour leaves early, they will happily do you a continental or Nasi Goreng or sandwich breakfast box to take out as long as you order it the night before.
Room was big with aircon and a terrace; bath with shower & toiletries, ; hairdryer; safe and mini bar; comfortable bed; complimentary water and plenty of hanging space.
Hotel had area on 5th floor terrace where our room rate included complimentary afternoon tea/coffee/juice and sweet/savoury snacks.
They have a restaurant on site for lunch or dinner. Prices for food & drinks are +21% taxes. Alternatively there are some local noodle bars on the street outside the main gate.
Hotel also has a lovely swimming pool and offers spa service on top floor with massages at extra cost.
Randomly in the hotel grounds they have a small kids funfair with about 5 rides. They also run activities from the hotel like horse rides; quad biking; cycling etc. Look on their website for info.
This hote (Plataran Heritage) has x2 sister hotels which you can get their free shuttle bus to visit.
