I can't begin to describe how good Hotel Tugu is.
Not only is Malang the coolest city in the world, that is the complete package.

The hotel is actually a museum. The granddaughter of a 19th century Chinese sugar baron, an internationally renowned elegant lady, transformed it from her home shortly before her 100th birthday.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at The 1O1 Malang OJ Hotel.

Excellent.
Clean rooms, well presented.
Desk staff very helpful and good English.
Food is excellent. Breakfast in particular is. Magnificent: very reasonable price and they have everything.

I had a very satisfying stay at Santika Premiere and truly had a blast staying in with my family. The food was good, and the cake at the café was also very delicious.

Resort is spacious on a large piece of land. Buggies are used to transport guests from the reception building to guests residence.
Stayed for 4D3N at Ranggunis.
Bedding: Mattresses are comfortable.

This Resort reminded me of the Marriott Nusa Dua Apartments. Just that it was better.
We stayed in a 1 room villa and 2 room villa.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Shalimar in Malang. It’s like stepping back in time, but with a modern, very comfortable twist. The room was beautiful and spacious — a good bed, a nice shower.

The best part about this property is strategic location.
Pretty decent room and the bathroom is recently renovated.
Service is meh, barely any services.

The rooms are spacious with good lighting. The staff are friendly, good but small parking lots. Toiletries are not complete but acceptable.

I stayed in this Hotel for my Malang Trip on December 16th to 19th 2025. Such a Good place to Stay overall.

I recently stayed at Hotel Whiz Prime Malang and overall it was a great experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

We came with a big group of family and booked almost 15 rooms, and this is our second stay. We had a really pleasant stay here.

Staff were generally very helpful honest and highly trustworthy during all our encounters but commucation in English need to be improved to avoid misunderstanding of information relayed.

Nice place to stay if you're having a trip in Malang, this hotel located in between road to Batu and Malang city.

We arrived early because of a change on our flight, the hotel let us leave our luggage so we could go and get lunch, they contacted us when our room was ready.

When I left Sydney for a holiday in Asia, I had no idea I'd be in a charming city within Indonesia called Malang.

+ cleaning is very good, people are disgusting sometimes but the staff was quick to clean every mess very quickly, I saw some off them cleaning all the time.
+ very friendly and hardworking staff.

I liked the Bobopod! It gives you privacy in a cheap way. I had the double just for myself, I think in the smaller ones it can be quite hard to pack your stuff.

The 3D2N East Java Tour offered by this hostel was truly a great experience! Every stop was even more incredible than the last and everything was perfectly organized.

We booked for suite room and spent 1 night in this hotel. The room is old style looks. Need to repair for some parts. The bathroom looks too dark and old.
Breakfast need to add some more menu.

This hotel is fabulous. It is located far inside from the main road. The lane leads to the hotel also functions as a jogging track, and it is full of people in the morning.
