Bobopod Alun-Alun, Malang

Such great value for the price. Location is perfect. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bathrooms were spotless. The unlimited filtered water was a plus. High tech rooms with Bluetooth speakers, fun mood lighting, and good AC. Towels and slippers provided. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place to stay at its like a hostel but you have more privacy with the pod your in and the prices are very reasonable.

Such a good place to stay, foreigner friendly, near from everywhere and very comfy.

The price-performance ratio is excellent, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Both the room and the bathroom were clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay.
The only downside is that the pods are quite noisy, as sounds from neighboring pods can be easily heard.

Bobopod Alun-Alun Malang is a great choice for those travellers who seek for a short-term visit in-between-trips.
The place is quite cozy with maintained modern furniture. Nice to the touch.
The room is OK, no big deal, a mirror, a chair-table like, and a bed quite spacious. Although I don’t recommend for those travelling with kids since it is too cramped for three. The bedsheet and towel is constantly being washed, really nice!
Services are good, free parking by telling the staff and he will stamped your parking ticket.
The restrooms, communal space, and prayer room is really nice. They tidied it up a lot and it is quite fragrant.

Such a good hostel!
I booked the upper queen-sized bunk option and it was a dream. The pod is super spacious and has a control panel with light control, bluetooth for playing music, nature sounds for sleeping and more.
The hotel is super clean, especially the bathrooms. Showers are super good since you have a space for dressing up privately next to the shower itself.
Location is super convenient, since it’s right next to the town square and multiple malls and shops.
You use the bobobox app to get around the place and unlock your pod, and also you get a noticeable discount if you book through the app.

A futuristic feeling pod which was cheap and perfect for a short stay in Malang.
If you’re happy to have a very small living space, shared toilets and showers then this place will be plenty good enough. Everything was very clean and carefully thought about for such a small space. Fun features like changing light colours and sleep music help to put this pod into a weird space and time and it’s an experience to be had.

Spent the end of semester break with my twin brother here, suitable if you want to stay overnight and go for a walk, I even just found out that in Kayutangan area there are interesting singer bands… I don't know how many times in August my twin brother and I went back and forth from Jogja just to healing in Malang, I hope in the next holiday, I can go to Malang again 🏖️

Well it isn't ok sounds proof.
When I was staying room above me where so noisy. After midnight and Early morning.
But.
Easy check in / out using mobile phone is a must.
The bed is comfortable.
Room's intertaintmet good.
Toilet are clean.
They have Mushola.
And public space for chatting and eating.
Water dispenser easy to find.
FD helpful. And overall the experience is 3 out of 5. Except the noisy neighbors.

Pod itself was okay, fairly small for 2 people with bags, there's only lockers for your shoes not bags. Main issue was treatment from some staff, I think they don't like foreign guests, first we arrived very early and were told no early check in, even though we could see many pods were free. Second we were told there was no bag storage, but after pushing we were given a slip to sign to store our bags, where there was a bag already, so I guess they let local people store bags! Finally some stains on sheets and bathroom cleanliness was good but not cleaned from morning to night.
Also you need to download an app, upload a pic from your passport. Took a while, feels invasive of privacy, a card would be much easier.
