All the staffs are very nice and warm in serving you.
I had important event to attend, so I request to get early check in before the event at the reception. They said they ‘ll try their best and they did.
My room was ready not even an hour later.

I was very satisfied with my stay in the hotel room. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. The bed was cozy, and the facilities worked perfectly. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing experience.

Strategist location, near local market and train station. Calm, private and welcoming. Rooms are clean, spacious and fully amenities. Indoor pool and has a roof top with great view. Breakfast food good and variety. Great staff and excellent service.

My first stay at this hotel and I immediately loved it. What was meant to be just a one-night transit turned into a three-night stay before returning to Jakarta.
The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The room was clean and comfortable, and although the bathroom was not too spacious, the shower had great water pressure. I especially appreciated the additional faucet for wudhu — very thoughtful!
To my surprise, the staff even prepared a lovely gesture with cakes and drinks. Special thanks to Ms. Sherly, Shasha, Rina, Dimas, Amel FO, Dimas Ayudi, Khalisa, Rama, Elsa, Yoga, Elya, Nisa, Fajar, Nabila, Cia, April, Dio, Arya, Daryo, and Sasongko for making my stay truly unforgettable.

The 101 Malang OJ Hotel is the best 101 hotel I’ve ever visited. I was warmly welcomed, even though I felt a bit unpresentable after just returning from my Bromo trip. The room was spacious, clean, bright, and had a wonderfully positive vibe.
I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the team: Sherly, Mitha, AmelFO, Delin, Dario, Gisel, Calisa, Rama, Marsuki, Keni, Natasa, Elsa, DimasACT, Rian, Manda, Dilla, and Isti (I hope I’ve mentioned everyone), for the surprise and making my solo trip so much more joyful.

We found blood on our duvet. So I asked the hotel to change all linens in my room. There was a hole or gap on the door right beside the door knob.
The good thing was all staff were friendly. Just one note from me. I do appreciate that the reception asked us to give feedback upon check out. Then we said that the feedback was about cleanliness. Sadly, she didnt try to dig what we meant with cleanliness. She just said : thank you and we will inform this to management. If you didnt dig the problem, then what can you say to the management.
I do hope that this feedback will be useful for the hotel. Thank you.

This hotel has very kind and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and the service is very good. Breakfast is generally good and plenty of variety. Location is close to a lot of street vendors and the local market. Definitely recommend for your next stay in Malang.

We got our requested and preferred room (high floor with a mountain view). It is the best view that they offer! The aircon is comfortably cold, love it. Even it’s an experienced hotel, all the towel, bedding, duvet seems so clean and brightly white 🤍. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. It definitely is a recommended hotel, guaranteed will be coming back again ❤️

One of the hotels in Malang City that provides a romantic private dinner. The service is very good and friendly, presented with 5-star products and spoiled by the rooftop view of Malang city.

Based on my experience, the 101 hotel is lovely hotel with a great central location. The staff also friendy and very helpful. Also the room was clean, nice and spacious. My stay was enjoyable 😊 Will be back again someday.

My family has stayed at several 101 hotels, including in Yogya and Bandung, so earlier this year, we decided to give 101 Malang a try. As expected, 101 hotels never disappoint! Even though the Malang branch is in an older building, the service is top-notch—fast, professional, and super friendly, making it feel like a fresh, well-maintained place. Quick service is a must in hospitality, and they really nailed it. Check-in was a breeze, and when I asked them to heat up some food I brought from outside, they took care of it right away without any hassle.
The location is great—right near the city center with plenty of food options nearby, from local warungs to restaurants. The rooms are comfy, clean, and nicely maintained. Plus, the indoor swimming pool is perfect for kids, so they can swim and play even when it’s super hot outside.
There are a few things that could be better, though. The food selection could use a bit more variety, though what they offer is pretty decent for a four-star hotel. The parking area is quite tight, making it tricky for larger cars like a Fortuner or Pajero. Having a parking attendant on standby to help guide guests would make a big difference. Also, in terms of design and ambiance, I feel like 101 Malang could use a little more of that "smart and stylish" vibe that makes the Yogya and Bandung branches stand out. It’s a great hotel overall, just needs a bit more character to really match the 101 experience!

Thank you, Hotel 101 Malang, for the wonderful surprise for my family! The room was clean and cozy with comfortable bedding and complete amenities and a clean bathroom with hot water. The hotel facilities were excellent, gave us a relaxing atmosphere.
Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a seamless stay. Thankyou mba and mas for the hospitality. We truly enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning!

The hotel was very nice, with a clean and bright room. They offered a full range of amenities, though small towels were not included. The breakfast had a diverse selection, featuring both Indonesian and Western dishes. Additionally, they served local foods and beverages, including pecal, bubur kacang hijau, bubur sumsum, jamu, and a variety of excellent Indonesian coffee and sambal. The staff were friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed a beautiful mountain view from my room.

Best place to stay, the room was clean and comfortable, the bfast buffet was delicious.   Last but not least the staff are very friendly, special thanks to bu Sherly, Jinan, Dava, Amanda, Amel, Kezia, Sigit, pak Arif, pak Joko, Vella, pak Raushan, Nina, dan Dion who gave me a little surprise with a cake and drink.

The staff was friendly but distanced. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. There is a nice sky bar where you can enjoy a drink in the evening overlooking the town. The restaurant at the base floor was empty but surprisingly good. The main problem of the hotel is its location: You can barely walk around in the neighbourhood and need a taxi for everything — even though it seems to be a general problem of Malang.
