Sunrise Hotel Malang

Very bad experience. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
When we asked about a hairdryer, the receptionist said there were only three available and seemed unsure about the information. There was also no telephone in the room.
The receptionist was not responsive and did not smile. One female receptionist with short, medium-length hair repeatedly asked whether there were three people staying in the room. My friend was only visiting, not staying overnight.
During check-out, the same receptionist did not say “thank you” and showed no hospitality at all.
Please look into this matter and provide proper training for all your receptionists to improve their attitude and service quality.
WILL NOT COMING AGAIN. Thank you.

Very bad experience with this hotel!
Dirty room with hairs on the pillows and other dirt on the floor and in the bathroom. Disgusting paper rests which sticks to the floor and dirty bed sheets. We didn’t stay there although we have booked for three nights. The staff didn’t speak English and wouldn’t even help us. We didn’t get the refund of our money yet. They charged us 118$ for three nights.
We went to a different hotel.
We are still fighting with booking about the refund!
Don’t believe the good reviews on booking websites! Scam!

Not good experience. Room was kind of dirty, and its so loud. We wanted to go to Mt Bromo, so we had to sleep during the day, and the walls are so thin you hear everything. The birds are way too loud, and everytime the elevator comes up the door opening sound is so so loud. Also there is not a real pool, its shin deep, its just there so you can say theres a pool.
