Grand Mercure Malang Mirama

I had a really pleasant stay at Grand Mercure Malang Mirama. From the moment I arrived, the staff were genuinely warm and helpful, not the robotic kind of “hotel polite. ” Check-in was smooth and welcoming.
The room was clean, modern, and comfortable especially the bed, which was honestly one of the highlights after a long day. The room felt quiet and relaxing, and everything was well maintained. I also appreciated the little details that made the stay feel premium without being over the top.
Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of options, both local and international. The dining area felt spacious and calm, even when it got a bit busy. The pool and public areas were also clean and well designed, making it a nice place to unwind.
Location wise, it’s convenient and easy to access, whether you’re in Malang for business or a short getaway. Overall, it felt like a hotel that understands comfort and consistency.
Would definitely consider staying here again and recommending it to friends or family visiting Malang.

I had a wonderful stay at Grand Mercure Malang Mirama. The hotel is modern, clean, and very well maintained. The room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional from check-in until check-out.
The facilities are excellent, especially the swimming pool and public areas, which are perfect for relaxing. The location is also strategic and easy to access. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again in the future.

I haves stayed one night only for attending my colleague's wedding in Malang, we choosed this hotel because I think this hotel is quite new and biggest hotel in Malang, when we came at the hotel around 1230 something which was very crowded guests checking out. But honestly to say that service of hospitality was beyond expectation. All were good well maintained profesional even in rush hours.
One think that I am very being helpful.
During checking out I was getting sick then my colleagues had to leave me alone as had to Cather up the plane going back to lombok. The hotel, they gave me late check out until 3 pm before I am being pick up by family.

Me and my daughter stayed from 16 — 18 Jan 2026.
It was an amazing experience. Definitely for my 7-yr old daughter. The swimming pool, she couldn't stop. Everyday she spent more than an hour in the pool!

I booked this stay through Agoda. It is a pleasant stay with 2 toddler. The room and bed are spacious, good enough for us to stay. We didnt try the bfast since we booked for room only. However, the staffs are very helpful, friendly, and give me a complimentary a doll for kids. So much fun, the pool is also in good feel (warm water).

I’ve been here a few times. The room is always clean and the hotel is still relatively new, so everything feels well maintained.
The swimming pool is large and has a slide, which is a nice bonus, especially for families.
Breakfast is just average, nothing special, but acceptable. Overall, it’s a comfortable hotel and a reliable choice when staying in Malang.

I only stayed for a night with my kid. But it was memorable one. Clean ambience, friendly staffs, very well hospitality, full facilities especially for the kids. My kid and I was so happy and satisfied with both the hotels & the service. Special thanks to miss Nova (if im not mistaken) the one who is stand by at the kids corner activities, she guided me & explained me very well.
It is very highly recommended for kids. Besides the complete facilities, there is also some very fun activities like cooking, animals feeding and so on.
I will be back again and again if I have enough money LOL😂
Unfortunately, I found the electricity went out two times at around 21.00. Even for a second, but it was a little bit disturbing. So I hope the management would solve it.

We were touched by the warm hospitality upon arrival — especially from Mr. Indra, who made us feel genuinely welcome.
To our surprise, when we entered the room, we found a beautifully prepared special welcome amenity that made the celebration of our son’s 11-month milestone even more meaningful. The room itself was impeccably clean — from the bathtub, shower, water closet, to the lavatory — everything looked well-maintained with minimal wear, making our stay even more comfortable and pleasant.
Thank you, Grand Mercure Malang Mirama, for creating such a heartwarming and memorable experience for our family. You turned a simple stay into a beautiful memory we will always cherish.

Superb hotel with excellent staff. Great extensive breakfast. Excellent Wi-Fi, bed & rooms. Good gym incl spinning bike. Excellent coffee and cake at the coffee corner. Diner is good but not very appealing as the places are too large vis-a-vis number of dining guests. Nevertheless the hotel is great and I recommend it as hub for either Bromo or Sewuk. Relaxing at the hotel thereafter is heavenly.

This hotel is amazing, and foremost the staff. The team is incredibly friendly and they all seem to work together really well. Special thanks to Indra, Yogi, and Immanuel for looking after me so well. And thanks to Angga Adepani & Hendry for the lovely room decoration. They even wrote me a note in Dutch. :-) The food needs a special mention as well, I really enjoyed the extensive breakfast and their Saté was mouth watering. Can highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Mercure Malang. The staff were always friendly and welcoming wherever we met them. There were plenty of fun activities for children, so they never got bored — from feeding the animals to enjoying the clean swimming pool. Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and everything was replenished quickly. Overall, a very enjoyable experience!

I stayed in this hotel on my way to Bromo, nice and spacious room, location near with airport. Check in process was fast and the staffs were very professional and attentive. The restaurant in the rooftop was nice and have live music, the food was good, we tried international food and local food both was tasty.
This hotel doesn't provide bathrobe, I need to pay Rp. 100, 000 if I want to use it. It's pretty weird since this hotel consider bathrobe is basic amenities in 4 stars hotel.
Breakfast buffet was festive, provides international and local dishes.

I had a great stay here and would rate it 5/5. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is a little on the pricey side, but it is one of the few properties in Malang that feels close to a true five-star.
The pool is excellent for kids. The staff were very kind and professional. They responded to my emails about room assignments for me and my parents, even though I have no hotel status.
I also appreciated the kid-friendly activities, especially the animal feeding and vegetable harvesting, which made the stay memorable for families.
The hotel does not allow Grab delivery to be brought directly to the room. This was understandable since they were understaffed during the peak holiday, though it would have been convenient.
In terms of location, it is a little far from most restaurants, but “far” in Malang terms means only about 15 to 25 minutes, which is not bad at all.
Overall, the staff were highly professional and competent, the facilities were excellent, and it is a very family-friendly hotel. Highly recommended.
