Djoglo Luxury Bungalow

I am very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was comfortable, the facilities were complete, and the room I stayed in was very clean and tidy. Cleanliness was well-maintained throughout the hotel, from the lobby and garden to the bathroom, which was always fresh and hygienic.
What made my experience even more memorable was the service from the housekeeping staff, especially Munif. He was very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed during my stay. His kindness and attention to detail in keeping the room spotless made me feel comfortable, at ease, and just like at home.

This hotel has been operating for almost 10 years, but somehow as someone who visit Malang quite often, I just knew about this unique hotel.
It is located inside Araya township, and at the same location with Djati Lounge.
The room design is adorable with big structure, high ceiling, and almost 360 glass windows.
Djoglo is actually a name of traditional Javanese house. So as its name, the design represents luxurious djoglo.
The bathroom is like what typical Balinese villa in Ubud.
Ambience and the air are very refreshing and with cool weather.
This is considered a boutique hotel with only 10 rooms, and due to lack of facilities, hence it can be boring for staying more than 1 night.

Room is good, authentic, and family friendly. I stay in Grevillea. Everything is good.
The location is in Araya Complex, which is nice for one who like quiet environment for resting. The downside will be it is quite far from city center.
Notes : they still have maintenance for the villas till November 2022. Better book afterward.

I like the architecture design of the hotel. The combination atmosphere between modern and Javanese traditional style is stunning. The bungalow was huge and luxurious with great amenities. It only consists of 10 bungalows. The staffs were nice and friendly. But they didn’t always around anytime like conventional hotel except the security guards, off course. The food was good, the only drawback was the menu offered limited options. The location was quite, next to the golf field.

Stayed here during the weekend and they only got one Garden View Room left, thankfully we quickly took it since everything else was fully booked 😁 But everything was exceeded our expectations. Check in was quick & efficient, room deposit for this precise room is IDR 1.500.000, a bit higher than usual but I think that’s reasonable due to the wood material used in the bungalows, so better prepare for cash or credit card. Housekeeping and security were helpful & friendly. During the evening, the tranquility is unlike any other, when we arrived the rain was pouring and we could hear frogs and God knows what else, but nature comes alive and it was honestly very comfortable. Overall it was very pleasant. Not to mention the free minibar did impress me a little, as it was a very nice touch, for the Susu Ultra inside the chiller (not pictured). Another tip: pack up everything you need because at night, especially during rain season, it will be slightly hard (or lazy) to exit the area again and Gojek drivers aren’t the easiest to find at night during rain season.

Excellent property and rooms. Modern and comfortable, overlooking the Golf course. Spacious room, large and comfortable bed and a very creatively done bathroom. Quality towels, to match the rest of the resort.
Dinner was super. Had the steamed fish, Thai style. Dinner by the pool. Sadly the breakfast was very limited in choice, and I was told that to get a coffee, I had to order the full breakfast. Staff were friendly and pleasant.
