What a wonderful historic place to stay. Only had one night there, but truly a lovely experience. Clean, homy and welcoming and if ever in the area, will stay there again.

We had the most enchanting stay at The Red Feather Inn in the Loft Apartment, nestled in the peaceful countryside just outside Launceston.

Hidden deep away of the norm, we found ourselves being welcomed by Caitlin and Miley who provided service very personalised warm and adaptive.

My partner and I stayed in the Spa Suite. We were amazed how beautiful the room was! The gas wood fire heater looked so inviting and kept us warm. We loved the character of the buildings.

We had a fantastic stay here. Nice room, clean facilities, good food and extremely friendly staff. The village itself, with the waterfall right in front of the hotel, is very pretty too.

We stayed in the Spa suite and it was fantastic. Great pub food and good Aussie Breaky that we ordered the night before, as we were kyaking Dove Lake. Staff are wonderful.

We stayed here for 2 nights over the Christmas holidays. The owners were very accommodating when our group increased in size and were able to get us rooms close to each other.

Fantastic cabins with panoramic views. Everything you could possibly ask for is provided in these gorgeous little cabins Can’t speak highly enough of this place.

I had a great stay over here at the 1 bedroom apartment on the top floor. The room was clean, and it was recently refurbished. The bathroom is modern. Very handy and exactly what you pay for.

If I could give this place 6 stars I could. Excellent customer service, Liz behind reception very kindly helped me with my laundry on 2 occasions! Rooms and entire area was spotlessly clean.

Stayed in Unit 6 for three nights in Dec 2025. We have stayed here several times before on previous trips. Good location, 10 minute walk to central Hobart and the wharf area.

One of the most functional apartment hotels I’ve stayed in. The layout is perfect. There’s the right amount of things and space. There’s room for belongings.

Gary was a wonderful host, and the farm was a truly tranquil place to unwind. It’s an ideal base for exploring the southeast of Tasmania.

Popped in for a pre-BBL dinner without a booking and were made to feel very welcome. The staff were wonderful—warm, friendly and attentive—and the food was fantastic. Super family-friendly pub.

Great apartment, comfy beds, excellent bathrooms with bidets, well setup space, light filled and quiet. Awesome team of friendly, helpful and professional staff. Common areas well presented and clean.

Overnight stay with 3 other women. The place was exceptionally clean with a well stocked kitchen.

The host was very welcoming. The garden was well kept and in full bloom. We enjoyed fruit, jam and eggs from the property. The accommodation was super clean and beautiful.

A beautiful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings and escape from the hustle and bustle of the world. The unit looks out onto a superb garden and lawn.

Great location, gorgeous views and beautiful home. Spread out the showers if you have a few staying here though as it does run out of water quickly.

We had a powered site for three days but also stayed previously in November. A great Caravan Park Management and Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

Big 4 at Ulverstone lived up to every experience we’ve had staying at this wonderful family park over many years.

Friendly and helpful staff with great recommendations of the local area. Great sized room with all you need. Pay the extra mini bar fee for the red liquorice in chocolate, beautiful.

The receptionist at lunchtime was great and very helpful.

Stayed here for 2 nights, location is primo if you are visiting Port Arthur site as you can have a key to the boundary gate on proof of your entry ticket to the Motel staff.

I picked blindly and excellently for my stay in Hobart. Antony is a one-man show keeping the place in tip-top shape.

This is one of the best, if not THE BEST, hostel I’ve stayed in (and I’ve stayed in several across the UK, Europe and Australia). The host, Antony, was welcoming and informative.

After having a terrible experience Irish Murphy’s, speaking to Paul and jake (the lovely security guard) it has absolutely made our night! Such wonderful people who run a great pub!

Stayed for 2 nights in 'New Wharf' over New Year 2025/2026. Our room overlooked Salamanca Place. Comfortable, clean and spacious room in an 1840's heritage building.

After the crowds at the historical site and the Lavender Farm carpark full of cars and tourist buses, we were looking for something quiet for lunch.

We had a fantastic dinner here after visiting Port Arthur. We opted for the set menu and it was exceptional—locally sourced, fresh, and very well-presented.

We absolutely loved our stay. We stayed in the blue A-frame cabin overlooking the sea, and it was truly magical — easily our favourite accommodation from our trip up the east coast of Tasmania.

New 1 bedroom unit. Very clean and modern. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable furniture. The bed was too soft for me and combined with large “high” pillows was very uncomfortable.

Beautiful / Relaxing place. Was everything we needed. We had meals delivered to our room before we arrived. The cabin was relaxing and big bed with a lounge.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our time in Cradle Mountain. Absolutely loved the cosy feeling of the cabin. Our cabin had everything we needed.

Quiet retreat in the bush. We went to a wedding there and it was a great setting with good facilities. We camped in our tent.

Clean bathrooms and kitchen. Steve always goes above and beyond to help you out. Best campsite in Tasmania.
