Camping & Glamping in TasmaniaCampground

Having recently visited the Park, I was really impressed across the board. The park amenities were clean and in great working order, and the staff were very accommodating.

Only stayed in the non-powered sites, but loved it. Great location, beautiful sunrises. Showers and toilets are cleanand tidy.

The rooms are good and big enough. The entire cabin was fully cleaned, and you don't have to worry about cooking as they have all the utensils.

We had an overnight stay with a late check in which was seem less. All was done over the phone and Annette was very kind in turning on lights and air conditioning prior to our late arrival.

Great cabin park. We stayed in the studio accommodation and it was perfect for our needs. Very clean, well appointed and very comfortable.

The is hands down the best NRMA park we have stayed at in our 3 years of caravanning.

We recently stayed in one of the Deluxe Caravans at Longford on two occasions in February 2026.
The caravan had everything we could need and was very well presented.

Right on river, great outlook and peaceful. Amenities very clean, well kept and up to date. Staff very friendly.

Truly a hidden gem, with the best service and the most beautiful views. Facilities were all clean and working well.

We had the most incredible stay, truly the highlight of our trip! Nat’s hospitality was exceptional from start to finish, making our group of six girls feel so welcomed and at home.

My Wife and I spent 5 days at this small but good caravan park in the small town of Triabunna, Tasmania. During our stay I had a medical episode which required a couple of days in hospital.

New owners, very helpful and friendly.
Quiet.
Great spot to catch the ferry or cruise for Maria Island.
Little tired but who knows what new management will do.
Loved our 2 night stay.
Paid showers.

We stayed one night in the Little Woody tent and absolutely loved it. Check-in was easy, and the lady who welcomed us was so friendly and helpful.

10! More if I could rate higher! 🤍
I arranged this as a surprise honeymoon hideaway for my sister and her new husband after they had to cancel their original honeymoon plans.

Great little overnight stay and our first time glamping. Shared facilities for glamping are amazing. The wildlife is spectacular. Family black cockatoos kept us entertained.

A fantastic glamping experience, they have really thought everything through! The best stocked (and cleanest) camp kitchen with a stocked coffee machine as well as all of the basics.

Seclusion and serenity. A chance to connect with the outdoors whilst still being in comfort.

We had a fantastic two-night stay. Our pod was very comfortable and luxurious, the view was wonderful, and between the hot tub and natural surroundings, it was a very peaceful experience.

Loved it excellent spot all round reccomend the safari tents there great warm and cosy with a bath on the deck.

What an amazing gem this is. We had the pleasure of Glamping here over the Christmas Break. The tents are spotless, bed is so comfortable and the bunk beds for the kids was perfect.

Strahan Backpackers is a hidden gem. Tucked away in a quiet, wooded corner of town, along a trickling stream with a resident platypus, it is a peaceful place to spend a few days.

The staff there are so friendly. Jeff was always there if we need help. He also told us the spot to view platypus.
Also, it is the cleanest the backpackers’ stay I’ve ever been.
