What a wonderful spot, Ash, Brock and Al make you feel very welcome and from our experience nothing is too much trouble.

We spent 3 lovely days here in Kelly room with wonderful views across the harbour.
The room was large, full of light, lovely bathroom with Mr Smith amenities.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t fault our experience. The hotel was beautifully presented, very clean and thoughtful designed, making it feel welcoming from the moment we arrived.

Cosy, welcoming, unique, and deeply relaxing — it felt like a little hideaway right in the heart of everything.

A lovely place to stay with all you need including an option to get your washing done. The staff are very helpful and the place was cleaned to a high standard.

Great location walking distance to the water, Salamanca Markets and Battery Point. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Balcony that had water view. Great to have a washing machine & dryer.

Perfect location, easy check in/out process, good parking.
The room was nice and roomy but the highlight is the location.

The penthouse room is great value because it's big enough for a catch up with friends and very private. The decor is a little bit tired but it's clean and has a full kitchen.

We booked the private room for Mother’s Day as there were 15 of us! Food & service exceptional. I had the 400gm Rib Eye which was one of the best steaks I have had in a long time.

The Shipwrights Arms is an awesome pub — love the vibe, the neighbourhood feel, the drink options and of course all the paraphernalia to look at!

Beautiful accommodation, For a 192 year old Colonial building, full of history. Room 8 is huge, nice views, a beautiful feel about the place. Comfy beds, very clean.
Would stay here again 😀

Stayed at Battery Point Manor and it was a good stay for the price. It is an old property, so you can hear some muffled sounds from other rooms, but nothing too disturbing.

This was a great little find at the top of the stairs to Salamanca markets, an easy walk home from so many restaurants.

Highly recommend Prince of Wales Hotel. Exceptional and friendly service from Grace and all of the staff. Great value and delicious Sunday roast dinner for $20.

We stayed for two nights and couldn’t fault the room it was spotless when we got there and room service was fabulous too.

This accommodation is a fantastic place to stay in. The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom and the shower are great too.

Had an enjoyable & comfortable stay at these apartments. Our room had a spa bath with a pleasant view of the park. Kitchen facilities were good with stove top, dishwasher & microwave pots pans etc.

Everything to love about this hotel — location, service and beautifully appointed apartments. Washer/dryer a welcome addition when travelling for more than a few days. Staff are so lovely.

I picked blindly and excellently for my stay in Hobart. Antony is a one-man show keeping the place in tip-top shape.

This is one of the best, if not THE BEST, hostel I’ve stayed in (and I’ve stayed in several across the UK, Europe and Australia). The host, Antony, was welcoming and informative.

After having a terrible experience Irish Murphy’s, speaking to Paul and jake (the lovely security guard) it has absolutely made our night! Such wonderful people who run a great pub!

Stayed for 2 nights in 'New Wharf' over New Year 2025/2026. Our room overlooked Salamanca Place. Comfortable, clean and spacious room in an 1840's heritage building.

This is our second stay.
It is in a very good location, close to plenty of bars and restaurants, though not too close to hear any noise.

Stunning accommodation in the best part of Hobart. Right near Arthur's Circle in Battery Point. So convenient to everything: great restaurants, Salamanca market, galleries, views, parks.

Very clean and very friendly staff, we were stuck in Bicheno and desperate to find an accommodation in Hobart, friendly and helpful staff member has been very helpful by getting us 2 bedroom

A good location close to the port and lots of choice of places to eat. First impressions weren’t good — parking is an extra cost of $15 per night, that’s not on the websites!

We were lucky to get a room at Galleria on short notice and stayed for two nights. The apartment is located in a perfect spot. The room was quite spacious and had a massive television.

Excellent spot to stay, right in the heart of Tassie and walking distance to everything cool.

A very nice apartment in the nicest part of Hobart. Great beds with quality linen, in a stylishly appointed apartment. Has everything you could need for a short stay.

We had a three night stay here in Apt 7 in November 2025. The location is excellent, and easy walking distance to town. The upstairs room is as described, with access via a set of steep stairs.

Great location and well equipped kitchen with washing machine. Loved the view very much as well. Less than 5 minutes walk to walamanca.

Great location, comfy bed, nicely renovated. Unfortunately the smoke alarm started beeping at 3.00am and kept us awake on our last night.

We booked 3 deluxe studio apartments. Each deluxe apartment had 3 rooms — kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with lounge. Deluxe apartments are located on the top floor.

Great for the price. Close to Salamanca. The renovated rooms are nice enough. It's a shame the old blinds haven't been replaced because they are a bit dampener on the reno.
