Penghana is a magical place rich in history. Hosts Karen and Stephen have a passion for giving their guests the most wonderful experience with their warm hospitality.

Penghana is an exquisite mansion with the perfect hosts. We stayed for five nights in the Huxley room, which was beautiful appointed with every care taken to ensure our stay was perfect.

We stayed here the night of Sunday 22 February. A good comfortable motel, a bit out of town but we were in a car.

Spent 3 days there. Convenient location. Nice rooms. We really appreciated having laundry facilities on the premises. Jackie at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful.

Amazing stay, rooms tidy and well fitted, best shower pressure ever! Its run by a beautiful family who do a great job. Very much recommended to stay and dinner was to die for! 10/10 from us.

Went in December, was met with very nice and friendly room. Room was clean, not noisy and at a great price.

My partner and I were in for dinner on Friday night 23/01/26 and I am embarrassed to say our hopes were not that high we just expected good honest country pub fare.

Enjoyed the steak night ($25 for 250g steak and chips on Thursdays)! Nice atomosphere with friendly staff.

For a little town of Queenstown, Silver Hills had delivered what we need for an overnight stay.

Friendly helpful staff. The dinner was very good and generous. The rooms were clean but dated.

What a lovely place to stay, comfortable bed, nice hot shower and the rooms were very clean, would recommend to anyone needing somewhere to stay in Queenstown.

Fantastic accommodation, one block from Queenstown main street and close to food options and the West Coast Wilderness railway.

This motel was a mixed experience for us. One of the rooms had a proper kitchen bench with a sink, but the second room had no kitchen bench and no sink, which was very inconvenient.

We needed to stay somewhere last minute as the weather made it too difficult to camp.

This place is clean, the staff were most helpful. The restaurant beautiful meals. Thanks I stayed in room 5, can't say a wrong thing about anything. Thanks again the lady with the broken ankle.

Rooms were decent, had a light that didn't function in the bathroom and it was fixed within the hour, good for people to stay overnight or a few nights.

We originally planned a 3 night stay as a base to explore the region. Comfortable bed, lovely hot shower.
Staff are very friendly and very helpful.
Restaurants open early for breakfast.

We had a group of 15 of us for a meal. All of the meals were sensational and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Looking for an authentic old hotel in a historic mining town? The Hunters Hotel is it! Lovingly restored this step back in time is well worth a visit.

Hunter Hotel has charm, ambience and location.
Rooms are large, modern and well equipped, which is not what you might expect in an old building like the Hunter Hotel.

What a find. Arrived here to a wet and dreary day. Matthew offered me a single room for $50.
Warm and cosy.
Dinner at the pub was fabulous. Take away will do me tomorrow night.
