Hotels in Tasmania with Breakfast

What a beautiful quirky property. The owners have created a gem here. The rooms are all themed differently. Ours was very comfortable and beautifully presented.

Dragonfly Inn is a really lovely, clean place, rich in character and so many thoughtful and kind touches. We really loved our stay and will make it our regular place in Launceston.

Hadley’s Orient Hotel is an absolute masterpiece in Hobart! The property is gorgeous, featuring a breathtaking atrium that is ideal for afternoon tea and a wonderful bar for drinks and a light dinner.

I am a Hadleys regular when I travel to Hobart. I love the atmosphere and combined elegance and coziness that is particular to Hadleys.

Excellent service from each and every one of the front counter staff we dealt with. One of the staff gave us a surprise upgrade to the full amenity's apartment when we decided to book some extra days!

Amazing hotel in a wonderful spot. The staff are all fantastic with the gentleman who checked us in (I think his name was Ben) having lots of great recommendations for our trip.
The room was great.

This hotel is exceptional. The entire experience is built around storytelling and it created such a cosy and fun stay. The rooms are huge and so comfortable.

We have just had a five nights stay and have come away feeling so relaxed. The service is exceptional and the quality and cleanliness of the hotel makes it so enjoyable.

The actual hotel is lovely; beautiful facilities and the rooms are delightful. Breakfast was very disappointing even though we paid a lot for it. Out of a table of 7, no one really enjoyed their meal.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay in a silo room. The hotel runs like a well oiled machine attention to detail is next level. The room was very comfortable with everything you need.

We had a wonderful stay in Chalet 2. The chalet has a charming vintage feel that perfectly suits the relaxed atmosphere of Coles Bay, while still being comfortable and well-equipped.

We have had an amazingly lovely stay at this resort. In particular, we ate at the restaurant tonight and were so impressed with the quality of the food and service.

Rooms were very clean and the cleaning staff made sure they stayed that way. The reception were very polite and helpful. Very professional.

Great location. Excellent services. We love the swimming pool, it is not deep and has pool noodles. It is great to have an ironing in the room. The room is very quit and comfortable.

Brilliant Hotel. Great Location. Lovely & Helpful Staff. Good size rooms with modern feel and super bathrooms. Beds very comfortable.

We are booked in just for the one night on a work trip.

Piermont Retreat is one of those places where the setting itself makes the stay special.

Piermont is one of those places that will leave an imprint on your heart. The remoteness, the uniqueness and the stunning location is one we will always remember.

I was looking for some last minute dog-friendly accommodation in the North-West. This was the cheapest option I could find but the booking website I found said it was sold out of dog-friendly rooms.

Wow, what a beautiful little motel. Only had one night there but it left a great impression and I would definitely return.

The room was exceptionally spacious, even with two double beds, providing a very comfortable stay.

Amazing experience. First time outside of air bnb in devonport and it was a stellar experience. Easy, and professional to check in (no fuss — which for me is a big deal! ). Very clean rooms.

I stayed here recently with the kids and loved the location and the rooms. We booked a tower room so make sure you book there.

If you’re planning a self-driving trip in Hobart, I would highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed for three nights in a mountain-view room and had requested a quiet room in advance.

First class customer service at check in, especially from Monica who was warm and friendly as well as professional and efficient.

We stayed four nights in this surprisingly intimate hotel located in a restored beautiful sandstone warehouse on Hobart's harbourfront.

I cannot praise the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff highly enough, the room was beautiful and very clean.

We had a perfect stay at Crowne Plaza Hobart. Every request we made was accommodated, and the service throughout our stay was excellent.
The room was clean, comfortable and very well presented.

Usually opting for the Macq01, I thought I’d give The Tasman a go this time.

Faultless. I've stayed in hotels worldwide but can't remember such a great experience. The hotel and room were beautiful. High period ceilings, large comfortable room with its own fireplace.

We had a two night stay for a special occasion and were not disappointed. Located above Mudbar and on the river it was the perfect end to our holiday to wind down before heading home.

The accommodation was wonderful, we had a river view, the room was very spacious & very clean. The staff at the front desk up to the house keeping staff were super friendly & helpful.

Stayed here again at this beautiful location.
Rooms were clean, warm and well appointed.
Staff were the same. Happy to chat and engaging.
This is my 6th time staying and it keeps getting better.

This is a simply magnificent picture perfect spot. Have been here several times now and there are fewer spots more beautiful to have a meal. Meals are very good.

Absolutely gorgeous stay in a fabulous location in Hobart. Charming old manor vibe maintained whilst rooms were spacious, modern and clean. Will definitely be back!

We always choose to stay here when visiting Hobart. It's a beautiful building in a quiet area just 5 mins drive from town.

We had the pleasure of staying at Islington Hotel for two nights, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish.

I had a wonderful pleasure staying at Islington hotel when I visited my friends in May 2026. The hotel is absolutely beautiful in terms of the decor and building architecture.

We had a fantastic four-night stay at Freycinet Lodge and honestly couldn’t fault a thing.

We had an amazing 3 night stay at Freycinet Lodge. The location is unmatched, with incredible views.

Fantastic stay such a beautiful old house in a natural bush and beach setting. Sofia are host is a great cook both breakfast and evening meal was great.

Pet friendly accommodation. Must love dogs especislly large dogs. Sophie along with her 3 German Shepherds were most welcoming.

Location close to the city centre, grounds well kept & tidy. Swimming pool was clean additional towel were a bonus.
Welcoming friendly staff.

I have stayed here twice over the last two months for several days.
Both stays were quiet and relaxing, providing a comfortable and enjoyable time.

Had the most amazing stay over the weekend. It was quiet and well maintained with everything you need. Gorgeous view of the river and some neat local things to do in Ross and Campbell Town.

Beautiful rural setting and township. Riverview motel has very well appointed accommodation with friendly staff and all the facilities you will need for your stay.

Customer service was brilliant. Rooms were clean, fresh and well presented. Great location for us. Only complaint was the comfortability of the beds — not supportive enough and quite uncomfortable.

Great location and convenient for shopping, restaurants and iconic landmarks. So easy to travel on foot to almost anywhere in the city from this hotel.

An Exceptional Stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Hobart.

We chose this hotel specifically because they had an offer with Qantas Hotels that included early check-in, late checkout and breakfast… I'll come back to this as they have lost a star due to poor
